They haven’t found a fix for either version of the audio bug. Apparently they can’t find a way to replicate it on consoles nor PC so all we can do is wait or if it’s happened to you for as long as it’s been happening to me then joke about it as feature of the game.
That baffles me that they can’t recreate it. It comes up so often for so many people.
What baffles me is that it’s been going since excavation came out and there’s been zero results since the first report.

(if your a ps5 user you can turn off 3d audio in your system settings menu this ususally fixes the issue however only ps5 users can do this so if your not one your fucked and also if you are sometimes it doesn’t so in which case your still fucked)
this issue is basically a meme at this point because illfonic can’t figure out how to fix this issue that is so widespread

Correct. Disabling 3D audio fixes this.
