Don’t get me wrong I did it in a few matches. Then I stop because it wasn’t fun and I bet it was getting annoying for the ft. Now everytime I play ft I always see the pred shot plasma shot after plasma shot. It gets annoying I think energy overload dosent really make it even better
Spamming Plasma Carter is now a thing and its getting annoying
I use it a lot but its hard to hit anyone with it on PS4.
They shouldn’t have nerfed it xD

well you wonder why they do that? il tell you why. the charged shot got nerfed. no point even charging the weapon any more … its fine as it is if anything it needs reverting so the charged shot is useful because its useless unless next to a barell to down someone

well. they spam it because its pointless charging it. preds are forced to spam it rather than be a sitting duck charging it for it to not do enough damage.
I mean what else are you going to do… shoot the bow or throw your combistick? then what go down on ground to melee them and get your hp melted off… if you play as hunter that is or any other class except breserker class… even with that class your hp just gets obliterated
its fine, just keep moving its a slow moving projectile.
dont all sit in the same room etc.
It only usefull for medium range and u expose yourself to use it. a good team can pretty much take your mask off in that time if your not carful. its a risk but its also a good weapon for clearinga building.
I dont think it needs changing, just need to learn how to deal with it.
Ive had to learn to deal with snipers by focusing and taking them out first at all costs, even if it means i get 2nd wind i will go for that 50cal recon guy first and claim as soon as i can. even just spam the plasma to keep them from reviving him and downing him with the bleed out.

spamming it isnt that powerful anyway if you just have a stare down exchange of shots the fireteam always wins that standoff

i do trap or net and throw spear all the time. as they group around spear leap and slam to pick it up. spear throw way more often than plasma, its more effective and way stealthier. sometimes it gets stuck in a room and they camp in the room and i have to run through and pick it up :D sometimes if they are above and you launch the spear but miss it flies across the map. also trap + spear throw to body plus 1 claw hit is an instant down. so you claw and down and pick up spear all at once.
a leap in and out to grab the spear is super manageable.
That yeah but a good fireteam can solve shit instantly and call the chopper… and like you cant just always rush in vs PC players lol they rarley miss shots
an uncharged direct hit is now 42 damage. Not bad, and thats why it’s spammed. The splash from an uncharge shot is around 16 damage i belive.
people : -complain about pred spaming the plasma canon
also people : -spaming the spoting buton and knives.-

its true. the pc / ps4 balance is an issue, the game is different to play on both platforms.

yeah but it always will be, unless they introduce some auto aim assist on console then there isnt anything you can do about that.
You can use a mouse on PS4 but the devs need to make it so its available as right now it doesnt work.

Plasma caster doesnt even hit as it should. opened up the sexual tyrannosaurus pretty easy, he had no armor on. mike (predator2) took a wrist plasma shot and survived because he was wearing body armor
other movies it can blow through steal beams and walls etc.
I dont get this complaint…
