Right now there’s no decent way to split up a fire team and it’s killing the entire stealth aspect of the game for predator players. There needs to be a way for the fireteam to get temporarily separated so that the predator has more chance to catch out stragglers. Surely its possible to create segments of the missions where the team has to split up to do something in multiple areas at the same time.
Split up the fire team occasionally.
I’m in agreement. Force a duo split during one objective round or something. It wouldn’t be considered hindering them too much, the Predator can only choose one team if the objectives are on either side of the map. Even if one team gets wiped, the other has a chance for revive (if it stays in the game) or extraction during the Predator’s rush back to them.
There is tons of oportunity when you arent making so much noise that they can sonar triangulate your exact location if we could be silent (more silent some stuff should make noise)
Then things would be way different fighting fireteam.
I had a post about fireteam changes I think would help balance the meta a couple days ago with this being one of the main points -
-the missions need ambiguity between stages to increase mission time, missions need multiple locations where the different stages can trigger so the fireteam actually has to wander the map to search for their next objective(2-3 possible camp locations marked where the money printer could be located with map designations, once a stack of bills is located in the correct camp the in game notifications for the rest of them would appear-you can choose to search them one by one together or split up and find it faster-either way this would improve match times in majority of matches, or create situations where the predator could ambush lone FT members)
I like this idea. If the lobby is full, then set a mission with a forced split. e.g. “we need to send a signal, and to protect the transmitter, but someone needs to go power it up”
There would be no difference unless preds noise ques wer removed the second you hit the area fireteam clusters up like they are elementary kids on a field trip.
Fireteam acts completley different when the game isnt like hey im over here…what didnt catch it???..no right right here shoot me its easy.
That’s why the single biggest change I want to see is a 90+% reduction in predator audio cues, no footsteps, no clicking, no vision swap or cloak/decloak cues unless the FT member is within 3-5 meters of the pred, they can of course hear the PC charge from further but I’m talking baseline audio cues
