All you did in battlefield was look in any general direction and hit spot, if there was someone within your field of view (even if you didnt see them physically) they were revealed to you and to your teamates via the mini map… This is how it feels to me in predator… i am so aware of the spamming that i intentionally crouch my way up to the fireteam within about 50 meters or so and take one peak over a rock and BAM, spotted… like wtf… Not to mention the AI magically can detect you cloaked and give your position away as well. Can not wait till this gets nerfed somehow and im wagering this is what illfonic was referring to in their latest announcement for a hot patch to 1.08.

Spotting itself is a very good mechanic, quz it allows you to draw your team attention to things you think might be important if there is no comms between you guys. Getting the spot icon to stick to a CLOAKED predator, outline him red, make him visible through walls is… well… have you ever seen a hamster after 50mg of pure cocaine? That’s the state of mind one of Illfonic’s employee must have been when he decided to code this shit in to the game ON PURPOSE…
