Spotted

Spotting absolutely needs a cooldown. Spam spotting is hurting the game. You can literally run around and spam spot every bush, branch, corner until you find the Predator. This isn’t how the game should be played. It’s total cheese 🧀 and removes any skill needed to find the Predator. It’s basically being used as a Predator detector. Besides it needing a cooldown, it should also be a perk that takes up a slot. Basic directional spotting is fine, but tracking spotting should be a perk.

I think that’s the fairest way to deal with spotting I’ve read so far

The people who say “don’t get spotted” or “attack from another angle”… are the same people you spot spam when playing FT… Like NO SHIT, ill reroute my attack. But when your the asshole mashing the spot button randomly, HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU STEALTH… I’m a pred main and when cloaked there should not be an outline. Thats a huge handicap for shit players who run and gun…
its funny bc most PC players spot spam. And they think there top their in gaming… ur mouse is on a rotating ball. Takes no effort to aim. If it was attached to a stick, that so called skill would be greatly diminished.

Hahahah you Played against a premate PC team?

I don’t spot spam, but if you have the ability to do something to inform your team where the Predator is, why wouldn’t you use it? It exists for a reason. There have been a TON of matches where FT members spotted the Pred like crazy. Stayed on then like white on rice, etc. But the Pred still crushed them.

Aiming with a mouse STILL requires effort, lmao. To say it doesn’t is silly. Everyone has their own preference in sensitivity, etc. Takes a lot of adjusting until you figure it out. Same goes with PS4! I’ve seen plenty of PS4 players playing better than PC players.

To just segregate PS4 and PC users is ridiculous and naive IMO. Just sounds like sore losers being salty AF, lol.

I don’t spot a predator either, then I always surprise him with bullets when he thinks no one sees him… 👍

the spotting can go as far as i’m concerned lol the eyeball pings are much better anyways for a team that’s already coordinated. sometimes i just want to let my team know where the pred is, and the downside of having the actual spot feature is that it lets the pred know that the ft knows exactly where he is, which ruins a lot of potential for free dmg.

currently, i think it’s almost a must for a lot of people who play with randoms, but if you’re playing with friends, or with mics, then you don’t/shouldn’t need it.

Agreed!

This pretty much sums up spotting as a whole lol. Like ok, we can get rid of it, you just wont know when we can actually see you now XD

Marking the predator need to be removed! I refuse to play with it.

Oh I thought they could see the caster charging while invisible

So we all HATE the spotting/marking , yet nothing was done for this in the latest patch? I refuse to play until it is addressed. I won’t even try the patch. Waste of time.

It’s cause ppl don’t use voice chat that’s why it stays

i can understand if there was no voice chat at all then spotting would be great but if players are not using voice chat because they don’t want then spotting must be gone to force team play and voice chatting

Not everyone wants to talk while playing in game and not everyone wants to get in to petty arguments and insults and racist remarks in voice chat and some ppl are just shy or some ppl want loud audio, many reasons

Then its their decision of not using it, spotting muat be gone

I agree, spotting should be removed.

Have the devs
Commented on this at all? Why has it not been addressed? This will be the last preordered game on ps4 for me, because of this one feature on this game.

They say they listen to feedback, yet NOTHING has been done.
