SO this will be the probably hundredth post about spotting, i play Pred Main when Solo and FT main with pals quite a bit i cant stand working with randos who dont know the meaning of Teamwork.
Here is a video where we hunt the predator without the use of spotting we use our comms and we have had a lot of matches like this and not to mention it makes for a more interesting match, see for yourself people we dont need spotting to kick predator ass. Now in all fairness i understand from a developers point of view this is more difficult because u will always have randos and no comms so paerhaps keep the spot mechanic to point out stuff like ammo, health, veritanium, heck even keep the spot but absolutely remove the function of outlining the predator in red hue for a few seconds and being able to see him behind walls and on the mini map that’s a big NO NO, WHen i play as the predator my cue that somebody has spotted me should be that im getting shot and its up to me as the player to calculate weather or not the FT is blindy spraying bullets and hoping for a hit or if they actually know where i am.
