Like I said I think that most of the folks who have issue with spot feel it just should not work when Predator is cloaked. Or maybe at least when he is 100% invisible.
It kind of undermines Predator’s already weak stealth and seems unfair that someone can guess where you might be, pan across that area hitting a button and now everyone can see you.

No, no ,NO! We are NOT blowing the top over spotting pal, its over marking and highlighting cloaked predators. Its a game breaker and is exploited to the point that playing against PC FT is impossible. As soon as they will hear your clicks they will just spam spot and MARK you instantly.
Spotting as throwing the eye icon in the direction you have noticed something is a fantastic mechanic and absolutely needs to stay in game, quz as you said not all of us got mics and also not all of us wants to use them, quz Predators can hear this chat, so its better if you can point the attention of your team towards something without using the mic.
Highlighting and marking a CLOAKED predator with this ability is absolutely pure nonsense and renders usage of camouflage useless. With how vocal and loud pred is right now his stealth abilities are very controversial, at least, marking him just ruins stealth gameplay all together. Why make a predator game and create in game mechanics that will literally forbid you to play like a predator?! That is the reason we are blowing the top over it. It needs to go, period

To squash this right now mud counters target iso. Its got a counter. Pred can be spotted while 100 percent invis sitting on a branch no counter to then be tracked through terrain. Apples and oranges.thats all ill say about that.

Tbh I don’t care about spotting the Predator because all Predators that I’ve encountered just jump in front of their enemies to melee, so there’s no need for me , or my teammates, to ping it.
If the Predator stays in the trees , just ping the tree and that’s it ,who cares anyway.
I rarely even bother cloaking 😂 everyone and their gran knows where I am, I’ll save energy for plasma instead.
Spotting the predator is easily the worst part of this game. No matter which side I am playing. Ruins the immersion and ruins the games.

The only people complaining about the spotter are predator mains and those pretending to be fire team lol at the end of the day its an game mechanics for those without mic and i can assure you there are double amounts of players that dont use mic than there are that do!
I dont like spot mechanic too, but i found a solution - dont move in stealth, just jump.
Try to find ft first time of the match NOT on the tree, use bush and another hiding environment, they will wait for you from the trees
Colour mechanics…??? WTF dude, problem with marking is that PC FT can spam it as much as they want! Preds target isolation has a cooling time. Apart from that marking cloaked pred shuld be removed from the game. Period
Im a ft and can tell you that spotter has a break after 3 clicks theres a time out before you can do it again! So! Do you want us to be thrown out the helicopter blindfolded and handcuffed aswell.
