Spotting / marking the predator is the worst part of this game. Remove it entirely!!

um…no. Unless you put in a terminal chat and allow playerrs to type type type until they get blasted by the shoulder cannon because they wasted TIME!!!

Spotting is merely OK against a Predator Player whose not completely familiar with what they’re supposed to do @MariuSSnzi. Especially for Players who stay in the Trees. Never, ever stick to the Trees while in the thick of it. Only use Trees for Spotting or Listening to track Players down. In all of my Predator Games (Berserker Main here) I’m in the Trees less than 5% of the time. Because everyone expects to see you up there.
I’ve spotted plenty of Predator Players. Good ones immediately dip out making it harder to track them. Average ones run straight lines away making it quite easy to keep them in your sights.

Last time I checked, predators don’t have red outlines around them so every one can see them!
Ridiculous design. Ruins immersion whichever side you are playing on. Need to be redone.

Remove isolation scan and the dancing red diamonds over FT heads while your at it.

Out of all the games I’ve played I haven’t seen my teammates spot spamming. You’re still going to get shot. Hell I’ve missed spotting the Predator and the team I was with still shot at him just by looking in the general location because he’s moving around. It’s also not hard to track the predator while he’s moving especially in the trees because if he doesn’t leap he has limited routes in where he can move.
I don’t think changing spotting will do much except when you’re with people without mics then it’ll stuck even more then most pugs.
Removing or nerfing spot is not going to help you vs the really good players. Those don’t spot on the predator, that way predator knows he has been seen. What they do is spot right under him then everybody blows him up. They also are on external communication software so you’re not going to know what’s happening. This is only going to make it worse for randoms.

No it doesnt i’ve just moved back to playing as predator from ft and i got hit a few times with it! Just means you gotta get good at your gameplay!

With desync they don’t need to spot you, they just have to see you once and shoot you through the entire map.
You will only realise it’s happening when you run like fuck and then realise there’s no one that could possible be shooting you yet you are still dying.

I hear so many complaints from Pred mains about spot “spamming” yet when I play FT (70%) I rarely run into spot spamming. Maybe once every 10-15 games. Spot spamming is useless if the predator is good…

Happens on the rare occasion…mainly in the lumber yard where everyone is out in the open. In the jungle it is much more diffuclt.
Spotting is fine as it is! I manly play Fire team and get owned most of the time! If you get spotted a lot your playing it wrong. A lot of FT have one that stay and look for movements! And its not that hard to see you clocked swinging from tree to tree. Or even the slight movement. I meet many great Predators I hardly see at all. And then I come across the one coming in gun blazing lol Yeah your getting spotted for your not playing sneaky/stealth.
I like this idea, but there’s one problem. It’s so easy to kill as the predator… Wait a minute, theres two problems. The second being, the berserker…
I do like this idea though.
