Spotting

I get that its a useful mechanic and everything but why in the holy fuck can you get spotten while in cloak? It defeats the whole purpose of it because people will literally spam the spot button around themselves cuz they know you’ll eventually get seen and then its a holy hellfire of LMG’s, AR’s and Miniguns.

If it only worked while you were uncloaked the ability would be fine in my opinion but its broken right now and if i got to change 1 singular thing about this game, it’s be this

I hope someone from IllFonic sees this and changes it because it just completely fucks up any attempt at stealth

Yes, this is also a bit of a vent cuz 3 games in a row just got fucked up by people doing this, but my point still stands. Either have it like the Isolation scan where if you get spotted, you wont be able to for the next 30sec, or have it be completely negated while cloaked

I’m inclined to agree.
If the pred is invisible, then how does spotting them magically make a outline around them(effectively making them UN-invisible)… spotting should spot the area around them. If i take you in the woods and point a squirrel on a branch. You know where i’m pointing, but it doesn’t make the Squirrel glow, dose it? Lol

Yea, maybe actually read the full post instead of reading 2 sentences and then forming an opinion. Thats just a general tip for life

Its not that it bothers me, its more that its just not smart. And the only reason we can see a cloaked predator is cuz completely invisible would be very op

I agree I made a post just now about the ridiculousness of spot spam. Not even 2 min ago I was cloaked in a tree they heard me clack and before you know I was spotted, how I wondered I was sitting in one of the many trees, standing still but I soon realized that they did nothing but spam spot and soon discovered me. I sat there in sadness dropped out the tree and gave up knowing that there was no point in trying. They NEED to get rid of spot.
