How about introducing a stand off mode during hunt (optional when there is only one fireteam left).
Entering stand off mode creates a video sequence of the predator revealing his face and maybe tossing a melee weapon to the last fireteam member and it’s time to fight to the death 😁 (stand off mode doesn’t allow you to use gadgets or cloak anymore and fireteam member cannot use guns or gear either, it’s melee time!).

There’s no actual melee system in this game OP. You’d be sprinting around him in a circle bunnyhopping around and he’d be mashing heavy attacks trying to circle strafe you. Off paper, it’s really dumb looking. No one wants to just stand there getting parried.

I disagree. I think traps and bows should be base and lastan standing should be saved for making a 1V1 possible.

But I will say this.
I think when it’s last Man standing the last person no matter if they have the objective completed or not should just be able to go exfil.
That would also make sense why the body heat would be raised up.

I have to disagree. It punishes the Predator for killing all but one.
And it’ll either come down to Pred easily killing them or FT hiding untill the chopper is available.
I’d rather LMS be buffed enough where a FT can solo a mission.

Okay, well let’s say that happens but the last fire team member used all his heals and is already in the red zone with heath.
Probably would be best the person with LMS should get his heath bar back to full? Because what’s the point if you’re already gonna die in like one or two hits in LMS

The idea is to play on the jungle survival asepct of being the sole survivor

I could see it working either way.
On the other hand if you used all your heals your either near the end and so don’t need it as much or it was your fault for abusing heals or allowing the Pred to damage you as much as he did.
A. Gameplay over lore
B. For the bow I was thinking modern bow with a forest bow as a skin.
C. In the original movie they set up traps as a team so it still fits in the world.
That’s the problem it’s locked behind losing which no one will do willingly so you won’t even get it most of the time.
Also some people will avoid revive.
