Petitions, Angry letters, etc none of that shit works at all. Never has especially not against the largest, and most evil, corporation on the planet. I mean these fucks filmed next to a concentration camp in china and got applauded for the shit film that came out of it. Disney could have someone shot in broad daylight and a bunch of emotionally stunted young adults and white women who still think they can dress up as Disney Princesses would applaud them for it and call you a monster for calling them out. How it is, its the culture they’ve cultivated.
The best way to fight back against creators like Disney, is to become one yourself. Go out & make your thing. Write a book; draw a comic, learn to code & make games, etc. Do something creative, try and make an idea that’ll sell. And never fucking sell out. It’s not simple, it’s not easy. It’ll take years of blood & sweat and might take even longer to actually take off, but it works.

That sounds like wut happened with the rippaverse. My only problem with that is that predator has copy rights doesn’t it? So even if one wanted to create thier own content it wouldn’t be able to be predator which puts it in a rough place because that’s what were all fans of. Damn i hope the Thomas brothers didn’t settle and are only putting the lawsuit off til they can have a slam dunk in getting it back

I was thinking EXACTLY of Rippaverse. So goddamn happy for the dude behind it. Actually made me & my assistant/editor get off our arses and give more consideration to our own future original works rather then just keep living paycheck to paycheck on comms & the like.
TBF if you still wanted to work on something that already exists and you love, there’s nothing wrong with that. The problem is in this scenario it is actually harder to do then creating your own original thing. But you could still always do fan works, sometimes fan works receive just as much acclaim: for better or worse.
For example, a bunch of Sonic Fan Game creators have gone on to officially work with SEGA, they created Sonic Mania. And although I really dislike Toyotaro’s writng style, he too was a fan who made his own fan projects before Toriyama hired him to draw & write the Dragon Ball Super Manga.
It is possible to work on the stuff you love, but you can also make things that display that love in other ways. It is what you choose to do.

From the spoiler rundown I read on AVPGalaxy, it’s most likely Number 1. Even though the Synoposis was like 4 to 5 paragraphs, it was enough to tell me the movie will be in the Top 3. Unlikely to be better than 1 or 2 but better than both the AVPs, Predators & 2018.
I remember The Pred on opening night, and the reception was good for several moments early on, but it evaporated quickly. I gave a huge exhalation/Heaving sigh of relief that that bad bad man, Shane Black, couldn’t hurt me anymore…

That’s what I don’t like the most in movies. They’ll make an impossible situation and then flip a switch and it’s over.
Not sure if you’ve noticed but the fans have had next to zero influence on this game especially the forums. We’ve had some truly passionate fans bring in great ideas and have suggested meaningful feedback and even create a website more useful than the entire forum and yet how was that treated?
Illfonic did more than mishandle it, they purposely treated it like trash and had their most loyal supporters work overtime to try and gaslight people into playing this cashgrab and to buy their DLC. You keep trying to blame the community for being toxic, but you ignore the problem that is those in charge keep fucking it up and expect people to like it and then label the pissed off fans toxic.
