Indeed the only thing i can think of besides it actually being good was that it was done in soy boy territory (California) so yea. One thing that does give me some hope is the misunderstanding between amber and dan as far as the description of Naru.
Not a big misunderstanding, but in another interview amber says she was looking at it as a strong capable woman where Dan was looking at it as a underdog story. That gives me hope cus it came off as if amber was coming at it with a feminist scope vs dans realistic underdog scope which makes me assume she won’t just be plot armored because she’s a strong supreme independent female character

As truly stoked as I am for the future of the franchise and this film, I truly hope the:
- a female lead?!?! ITS WOKE!
- franchise sucked since the beginning
- can’t let anyone enjoy anything.

Don’t see how people are exactly “helping” by demonizing anything that comes out by this franchise.
Suggesting one thing, then throwing a child level tantrum because you didn’t get what you want, isn’t helping. Will just push away any want of anyone wanting to help.
Very select few people who actually “helped”.
You had those who stuck around that played the game and promoted it as such (have moved onto other games due to the ignorance of the devs and negativity of the community, some fell victim to the group mentality of choosing to be negative) to those who said game is broken let’s fuck it up more (think they helped somehow?)
Funny to see those who lump themselves into that crowd and get defensive over feeling like someone has “called them out”.

Ill have to shit on your excitement of Disney making more predator things. Mainly because if this movie is as good as its purported to be, it wouldn’t be because of disney actually the movie was in the works before the merger so if anything we haven’t seen a dianey predator yet and honestly. I DONT WANT TO SEE A DISNEY PREDATOR
If you watched the clip even Dan Trachtenberg made a joke about the merger with disney saying they pitched a disney predator princess. So yea as much as it may label me a (fill in the blank) i still say disney is the one who can fuck right off a cliff
I’ve read the plot synopsis, wasn’t huge & in-depth but basically a cliff notes version of what is in the movie. It was like 4 paragraphs long so leaves a lot to the imagination currently but there were at least 3 specific instances brought up in the Synopsis of Naru basically eating shit, probably gets thrown around more than even Harrigan I’m guessing. So plot armor ain’t really a thing aside from ya know, just being the main character in a Horror movie.
I only have issue with one small plot detail in the Synopsis but it could just be because of the fact said Synopsis is rather barren & rushes through things and it doesn’t affect the Predator itself or anything like that. Aside from that, the movie does sound like it’ll be the best one since 2. Probably a solid 3rd place, up there with 1 & 2 but not overtaking either. Though again it could be way better in viewing then it is from a 4 paragraph long rundown.

With Deadpool and Logan being R rated films, also with other movies like “Prey” coming out, seems like they are embracing the mature audience because it’s the vast majority of people whom have grown up on Disney films.
Guess we will all see the film and choose where to put our faith accordingly!
