What does the new Ai unit on H.Q. map do? I have seen it once but never gave it the chance to see what it does.

As far as I can tell, it just alerts enemies to your presence, like a mobile, instantaneous version of the camp alarms. I was expecting them to attack you in some way, but nope.

i found it moves into its location just after you approach the area. then it stays floating there until you destroy it. Kind of lame if you ask me, i almost wondered if it were a drone at all. It didnt follow you and it didnt even budge after you shoot it.
