Stealth Kill Players

Can the Predator stealth kill players, please? If I get up behind a player, while cloaked, and crouched, and nobody saw me, I feel like I deserve the kill without them just spin jumping and popping me full of lead.

This feels relevant. If a player is standing still long enough for a pred to sneak up behind he should be punished. And if not stealth killed, at least the first melee strike should be a critical hit imho.

I know, this is something I think about every time I am the Predator. It’s like the game actively does not want you to stealth kill the fire team even though that logic pairs with the core mechanic of hunting. To be fair, the scenario where you are right behind a fire team player and they are standing still is rare and would need to be implemented/balanced by the designers carefully.

Yeah I thought this was kinda funny seeing they have stealth killing in the tutorial but it only works on ai like the predator wont be focusing on killing the players

This would be frustrating AF for the human players. Instakilling in a MP requires no skill at all from the player. The only moment I would even consider something like this to be reasonable is if that was a very expensive perk for the Pred to instakill them while they hold down their key to do objectives and even then it´s stupid.

You need to down a player 2 or 3 times to get the option to do a instant kill animation from the back. The player should have a skull above their head if I’m remembering correctly.

I think you are right - I have stealth kill a human player befor with my comistick, but it was after he was downed by me. Don’t remember how many times he was downed tho…

I was thinking the same thing. It’d be cool and a good way to implement it would be that it’s a long kill so it can be punished if other teammates are around. And if he cancel the soldier can be downed or something.

This happened to me. I was spotted and ran behind a fence. Crouch down and cloaked (which renders you invisible btw) the player came to a cliff to look for me and never saw me crouched right next to him. I walked behind him and started hacking. He obviously got away and the 3 remaining fire team members annihilated me lol. I was able to nuke them though.

It wouldn’t be an instakill, stealth kills still take a lot of time to perform and make the predator very vulnerable to attacks from the other fireteam members
