Stealth Kill Rework

Okay. This is not a huge deal nor should it be looked at like it is!

There is some issues with the current stealth kill set up. Recon, Scout, and Owlf, all can be stealth killable however with the aid of medic after that rework the issue has started. Those classes when picked up for the 3rd time will not have the skull icon but when you go to try to deal them some damage to unlock the skull they just die. So this brings me to my first point of the rework.

1: ft are stealth killable up to 75% of there hp after being picked up the 3rd time.

However this will not just let you instant kill said ft member with melee, to get the kill you must do the animation. That brings us to the 2nd point

2: Stealth kill animation can be canceled. If canceled the ft player will go into a downed state regardless if they have been down 3 times (or 4) with the perk.

I know some of yall are going to say high risk high reward. Sure I won’t argue there! I feel I gave a fair compromise tho.

And Lastly. Stealth kill should kill the ft regardless if they have the perk that grants you 4 down instead of 3! This has bothered me since the 1st stealth kill was done lol!

I was going to say stealth kills are just stupid actually and don’t make any sense as a mechanic

I’d love to hear what they were thinking with how stealth kills are implemented in this game.

Fair! I Find them enjoyable.

It would have been cool if stealth was really a big part of this game and you could stealth kill one ft player right at the start and keep it going till they spot you lol

It’s kinda the opposite of stealth. It’s overkill lol

If they wanted to implement a stealth kill they should design some kind of timer or gauge to fill to acces a legit stealth kill. It’d be nice to wait for that right moment to get a free kill if a player is unaware.

I honestly find stealth kills incredibly hard to come by. Almost as rare as Mythic trophies. But if you got a potatoe family of gamers…then all the power to you to fullfil this event that happens almost 1% of my game in the almost negligiable combination of gameplay scenerio and now it must be reworked to fulfill 1% of gameplay that 50% of almost everyone never comeby.

LEts put this into perspective here:
unless you’re talking about Stealth Killing AI, thats an understandable story.
But an active, re-active …gud FT player who isn’t a small child who isn’t bullied into the playing the game because you said so and are runnig a live stream video. you’re looking at something much like waiting for a bird to fly into a window.

I think you need to add the opportunities to do a stealth kill into this rework. Otherwise this effort is moot.

I like how you just assumed that we all do it.
Unless of course what you actually meant by Stealth was actually LONG CLAIM.

yes it is a mechanic…not one found often.

My stealth kill rework idea I made a while back would blend really well with this.

Summary of mine was that they should count as claims and now would decapitate FT and Pred would take the head. Also gave ranged weapons new stealth kill animations, such as pred walks up and HHPC blast to the neck decapitating FT etc.
With your basic function rework blending this I think stealth kills would be in a good place.

They should also put the stealth kill opinion on the claim skull button, for 2 reasons.

  1. It’s sometimes you’ll accidentally kill the FT without actually stealth killing them.
  2. You don’t want to accidentally stealth kill an AI when you chasing FT down

Just so that i’m not in the clouds here, do you actual mean LOng Claims? Long Claims and Stealh Kills are two different things.
One actually is alot harder to come by. If we are in fact playing the same game here. Predator Hunting Grounds.

No I think he is saying that the interaction button be the one for the claim instead of the attack button. I could be wrong @Robo_2696 so correct me if im wrong

No i get this discussion on Stealth Kills now,Ive seen a prior video you posted. But i still really find Stealth Kills to be something really really really difficult to acheive. In most of my games, nearly impossible.

You posted a video recently and near the end of the video you see the pred stealth kill a ft member running for his life and literally nobody backing him.
Its tough to find this scenerio to begin with so I’m just saying …its WORSE than finding a Predator Mythic Trophy. But it is entirely possible when you play a party who just doesnt give a fuck. It can either be contrived or next to impossible.

To me, to form an opinion on this is difficult.

So unless new gamemodes or game maps split the FT to allow this, i don’t think much can be done to improve Stealh Kills on FT.

There was no one to back him. In the video you are talking about. I had the other two players occupied. One was picking the other up. I know the issue of how hard it is to achieve this mythical kill but it really makes for a gppd match. I have done it against Pre-mades now it is alot harder
