It is sad that so many people have posted the same thing about crossplay and the devs still haven’t addressed it. I can understand things happened and prevented it from being available at launch. What I find completely unacceptable is that the devs cant be bothered to even acknowledge the problem. I understand that ETAs can sometimes be impossible to give. BUT at least acknowledge the damn problem already. I think a lot of people are angry due to the complete and utter silence from the devs. Pathetic. The devs post and say we hear your feedback. Really? Do you? Then why haven’t you even acknowledged a problem that hundreds of people are bringing up to you!
still no update or fix for inviting friends from another platforms.

Devs are reading the forums as you can see in an announcement it also hasn’t even been out a week give them time for the love of all that is holy most are working from home right now and even if they weren’t give them time.

you missed the entire point behind what I wrote. acknowledgement. 100s of posts and not a single acknowledgement of an issue with this. I could care less if it takes another week to fix. I could care less if they are working from home. when a company acknowledges a problem that hundreds of people have been saying that’s shows they are “reading the forums”. not some post that says we read the posts. now wipe that spot off your nose. little brown spot just there.

what? lol they already posted yesterday or the day before saying they’re reading the forums and have another patch on the way. you want them to individually acknowledge every single post and critique here or what? no dev/company does that.

ok lets follow this. a patch is on the way. For what? what is being patched? there isn’t any acknowledgement of any kind when “they read the forums”. As far as the players know they will be changing a font size in their patch. there is no summary of any kind of what they will be addressing in the upcoming patch. and many developers DO this for their players. they give a GENERAL list summary of what they are addressing in the next patch AND the specifics of which will be available in the patch notes. COMMON. oh wait. I thought no one did that. And I never said they had to reply to every post. they can make a thread on their own forum that acknowledges the cross play issue. I guess posting on the forums is what no dev company does. Acknowledge massive complaints about a single issue. Take five minutes to type a post. make it “read-only”. Oh wait. countless dev companies do that.

I’m sure it’s being looked into and will be fixed. It’s going to take some time. They can’t give a projected timeframe on something like that.
“that is what patch notes are for…” really? Are you serious right now? Did you not even read my post. a majority of dev companies release general plans for the patch. i.e. what they intended to fix. And then build on this list for the community to see that they are being heard. they don’t just say, “We heard you.” they don’t just drop patches without warning as to what is being fixed. Patch notes are almost always released at the time of patch. So serious gamers that like to have time to adjust their play styles have no chance to begin planning. They have a right to plan before as well.
Also, I paid for a game based of their promise this feature would be available. I am not a console gamer and never will be. Wasn’t available in beta. Wasn’t available at launch. They said it would be and wasn’t. They failed to deliver and remain silent on the issue. That is what so many people are mad about. I would have been less irritated if they had just delated the game and released a more finished product. and yes I already know. no game is perfect. But it could have been polished a little better before it released. They should have learned from the failed attempt at Friday the 13th. (Thankfully I never bought it.)

I am totally on your side. Acknowledgement. I don’t care how long it would take for them to have cross play party invite (next day, next patch, next week, next month). JUST GIVE US A PLAN or acknowledge that it will be coming since I bought the game because of this. Very very disappointed. What is promised on launch and doesn’t work should be acknowledged immediately. Sigh. Even many gaming articles say you can do crossplay invite. I don’t know where they get that idea from. Maybe, a cross-play title should on default - BE ABLE TO INVITE FRIENDS ON OTHER PLATFORM AND NOT JUST PLAY WITH RANDOMS?

agreed. but as you can tell from my post there are people that will always defend companies for dropping the ball. but you are right. acknowledgement of the exact issue. To me that post about we hear your feedback is a little condescending in my view. Why cant they go through the forums and make lists of common themes. (they make software that does just that). Oh wait people like to be fanboys and let companies get away with all kinds of crap.

the beta was for both ps4 AND pc, so you knew 100% what you were getting from the very start. literally everyone knew this game was going to be a work in progress upon release. everyone. not only that, but the game hasn’t even officially been out for a week yet and you’re already bitching and complaining about it as if they’re not supporting it anymore. why do you need them to hold your hand through everything? hello!games went silent on nms after it released and that game’s amazing now. just let them work on the game, ffs.

i’ve already addressed and shot down all of your points, but you still don’t seem to understand somehow. not only that, but i didn’t once say that they shouldn’t be held accountable for anything or that they don’t have to fix the game, but you’re arguments are irrational and just childish. i also didn’t say that anyone was wrong for being displeased with the game, i simply said you’ve got unrealistic expectations given the timeframe. if you actually read what was written, you would have seen that and not look so foolish now. like, you come across as one of those guys that doesn’t hear back from a girl in a few hours and then calls her a bitch for leading you on. i’m not saying not to expect improvements, i’m saying give them some time to actually get their shit together.

you have zero idea what ur talking about. THE DEV addressed it before they launched the game (even during the beta) that cross-platform party will come AT LAUNCH. “If you can just read above…” me and @daemonbayne did not care about HOW LONG it would take them to fix the game. It is about addressing the bugs and issues that they could not deliver what they promised. We understand the situation that is going on but what we need is a roadmap or an announcement saying “they are looking into the problem” and not just pretend like what they promised was never once said. Please read before you make any nonsense comments and if you can’t, just go bother other ppl’s posts then. I will say this again in case you still don’t get it : It is not about the time frame that we are concerned, it is about the promise that they failed to acknowledge. I could not care less if it will take weeks or months or days or hours or seconds. Just acknowledge and tell us what is going on. We, consumers, have the rights to complain what was expected and promised but did not deliver. We spent our hard-earned cash on a game and we expect what was originally promised. My brother pre ordered the digital deluxe edition on PC. and he got the day one normal edition. Not even the standard version pre order content… how nice is that!!
