Well it’s been awhile hasn’t it but sadly it’s still the same, the game and this community but I missed you all and decided to come back to pray things will change after a PS5 upgrade 😁
Still waiting for them to fix leaping for predators in PS5
Yes. I hope they fix leaping.
Specially the part where leaping directly to a tree brench that doesn’t cost any stamina at all
Predators are just as at home in the trees as we are on the ground. It doesn’t make any sense for it to cost them stamina to traverse the trees. It already drains their stamina enough doing 2 leaps or sprinting for a few seconds. Heck, most of the time, the game doesn’t even let the Predator jump to the tree branch in the first place so they’ll still get melted regardless.
The Fireteam can keep pace with a Predator who is leaping & traversing through the trees anyway, which realistically should not be a thing at all as Humans should be nowhere near as fast as Predators. The Fireteam can also have practically endless stamina just by sliding all the time mid-sprint. If you’re playing a class like Scout you might aswell have infinite stamina.
I think it depends on how well the Xbox version sells TBH
I was kind of expecting to see an influx of unblooded but I guess there’s still time…
You are the biggest whiny bitch here
You’re still a lunatic if you think your words matter to anyone on this forum or yet that affect me in any way.
I wasn’t talking while on the trees (predkour) but leaping to it. Just that.
It’s a matter of logic. Leaping drain stamina, even small ones. Sometimes leaping to a tree is as big as a leap on the ground, it’s only logic it ahould drain stamina.
Not quite. While predkouring there’s all kinds of maneuvers. FT on the ground after the Pred is a run in a strraight line so to speak. Also, speed ON the trees was augmented afrer last patch, so nowadays only a noob predator gonna get caught pants down.
Id have to agree with vorhees, preds stamina drains quick already. If your running aroumd with out sprint ft can still melt you so when you use stamina and leap around to make it harder for them, it only last for a short time before you slow down and start gettin sprayed and by that time your staminas down so cant leap away or sprint to recover with out trackers hot on your ass ready to light you up as soon as you start to heal.
I play both pred and ft and pred is often over powered by the fireteams perks, class exploits, etc. For predator things only work as it should against beginners, but go up against a ppl who’ve played since launch and your gonna have a hard time. Personally i think preds stamina should drain slower, leaps cost less, and in night mode pred should have the red vision when the mask gets blown off to balance the competiveness in night mode. Basically seems like cards are stacked it the fire teams favor
Leaping is a death sentence against a premade. Plenty of vids of leapers getting sniped and shot at, even at a far distance, hence why its advised that if you’re second winded, just run, only leap to reach a high area to get cover. Running still wastes a lot of stamina though, so agreed that stamina should be overall increased.
The Fireteam can easily keep up with the Predator regardless if they just keep following him. He has to stop to heal or get a pig anyway. If you’ve ever been chased by Gesp or ThunderWolf, let alone both at the same time you’d know what I’m talking about. The Predator leaping & sprinting already takes up enough stamina as it is. They hardly need more drains of stamina on top of it. Predators don’t get tired at all in the movies from merely jumping around or sprinting. It should realistically barely cost them anything to leap around anyway. The game is already heavily balanced in the favor of the Fireteam as it is.
Your exactly right on the leaping and when to leap. Playing as predator should feel less like a handi cap match and more of a cat and mouse. Tbh it wasnt that bad in tje first few months of the release, but then they nerfed the shit out of it. Even when bionic came out he had good energy, good stamina, etc. then he got nerfed to shit too. They really needa jus re balance alot of it, but from what they say they watch the win/lose ratio overall so since premades a few and far between the numbers show the beginners imo
You can still get away with leaping, you just have to be smart, break line of sight, use cover from trees, hills, buildings, constantly change direction. And don’t just spam leap in a straight line. Also keep note of where the Fireteam members are shooting you from.
If you know how to use movement in the most optimal ways you can avoid a lot of damage.
You’re talking about 2 of the best FT PC players IF not the really the 2 best. Ofc it’s not an easy task. What i’m standing is that you can’t draw the line above those 2 players but way below. A smart enough Pred will outrun an average ft easy enough depending on the map.
Again what i said about stamina drain leaping from the ground to a tree is jist a matter of logic cause a small leap will consume stamina amd that doesn’t consume stamina at all. Doesn’t make sense.
Well if we wanted to use logic here too, Fireteam players shouldn’t be able to recharge stamina by sliding & they shouldn’t be able to Spot the Predator but here we are.
