For the past few days with having crossplay enabled, I’ve copped my first Ls as predator–and they weren’t your average Ls. I’ve been dropped by a full PC team of Isabelles who were camped up on tree branches. Upon getting in their proximity, I got near-instantly put into second wind from them blasting me with sniper rifles that fired at the rate of assault rifles, which means I was put SW in like three seconds and then downed almost immediately, popped my helm off, and killed me before I could even finish activating the self-destruct channel; and this was all done with pinpoint accuracy while as I was jumping while cloaked; they then super leaped (just like the pred does) to go teabag on my corpse. Secondly, I got into a match with a mix of PC and console FT; right as the match starts, a Dante teleports INTO my predator and starts rapidly knifing me while there was no way to get him off; leap didn’t get him out, and as you can guess, he downed me. There have been many instances where I’ve gone against obvious aimbotters and PC premades being underneath the ground, some even flying around the map like it’s creative mode Minecraft. I did what any person with a brain would do and turned off Crossplay. I eventually stumbled UPON this.
I’ve encountered people somehow getting underneath this building numerous times, but in this match I noticed they were doing this weird phase-shifting thing as if they were zooming from one place to another like a japanese ghost or something…I can’t tell if it was a hack or not, but either way…why has this little cubby box been in the game since release day? I remember back then it was wide open so that the predator could crouch underneath and get to them, but now there’s a slab of wood blocking the pred’s entrance. I could be wrong and that wood slab was always there, but I 100% remember just crouching right on in there and offing them in the past, so this means that Fonic went out of their way to patch it up in a way that only hurts the predator more, and they’ve yet to seal this spot completely off. I came to a realization in this match that all my losses have either been from a bug, glitch, hack, bluescreen crash, or an outright blatant mechanic flaw (Such as an AI soldier doing their weird skipping-skating run while T-posing around the place and getting in the way of you melee attacking a FT member, which then forces you into performing a stealth kill animation on the AI, which leaves you essentially stunned while the FT melts you and you can’t even cancel it out).
Normally you could say “Just give it time; they’ll fix it soon. I’m sure they’re working around the clock to fix it” when it comes to games with some spotty problems–but nah…this has been a problem since beta and Fonic has been pumping out paid DLCs instead. This is the Forums, so I know people are going to defend the actions of the players in the video and say “You shoulda done this/that” but as you can see in the vid, I did everything possible and I shouldn’t even have to do the crap that I did in the vid since this should have been patched already, yet here we are. At this point, I’m convinced that PHG was meant to be a 1-up and a direct competitor for Cyberpunk for the “Most unpolished game award”.
I know someone’s going to say “Then stop playing it.” Well, brother, if this game were free then I would have uninstalled it after the first time I got frozen in a pig-eating animation while the Fireteam blasted me–buuuut…nope; I pre-ordered this and have been here playing it since in hope that they’d finally fix the problems, though what’s more-likely is more paid DLC that we may or may not be unable to equipped due to bugs that won’t be fixed (Like my REBREATHER THAT I STILL CAN’T EQUIP? HMMMMMMMMMMM?).
