Just yesterday I was whooping a zerker’s ass while on my Scout in melee. I sent him into second wind twice in 1v1 melee while my teamates were jerking in the jungle somewhere. Eventually he whips out a netgun to hold me down while he melees me, and I’m just sitting there like “You had to net gun…a fucking socut…as a zerk…”
Lemme get this straight you chased after a Pred on your own and are surprised they had the Netgun to counter? That, and using Medic Perk, is like rule 1 on how to counter Chasers who split off from the team and try to run you down. The only disappointing thing that Pred did was play as a Zerk.

I was actually doing the mission. My teamates were scattered around the jungle, doing nothing. Not even looting, actually just wondering around in the the new map’s terrain.
Bro, I bow hop. I fucking invented bow hopping back in month 1(not really, letting myself boast for once) I can pop arrows off during a jump with a sleight of hand trick on the controller. You know how hard it can be to line up those shots and still get the arrow off in the air?
And Elder Stalker is there to be a fucking stalker. If you can’t determine where he is from the clicking and caster shots, you’re just bad at pred hunting. Throw an ACIG, throw a cooked nade, shoot at the branch! When playing against the good PC guys, I would’ve expected you to know that… It takes a certain skill to smart disc kill a downed player without retracting. Thunderwolf can do it and it’s fucking scary. Mad respect

Yeah I am bad at Pred Hunting. Cause I don’t play much Fireteam or care to. I still have to end up solo’ing in Random Quick Plays when grinding out VT through the Weekly & Daily Challenges because for some reason the rest of the team SITS IN A SMALL ROOM WITH ROCKET LAUNCHERS POINTED AT THE DOOR, just expecting the Valk who can clearly see them through the window to walk in and take the hit. So it ends in me doing a strafing run around the Valk and mag dumping as much I can to fend her off on my own because the randoms just sit there like “Our Tom & Jerry skit will CLEARLY work, just lure her in”. I only average out at about 2.7 - 3.5K damage per match. That’s not good. Everybody else in the Clan, Justin, Wuffell, Silver, Translucid, they’re all the good FT players among us.
Like I mentioned earlier, I mained Peacekeeper because I love damage over time. Any game I play, I always want the DOT weapons/builds. That’s why I use the katana in PHG. I also like to combo the katan bleeds with the norse hammer (even though the directionals and lunge range on it is terrible sometimes) and 1shot people.
VT weeklies with randoms make me question my existance. I dunno, maybe it’ll be way better since I’ve gotten a good little group of friends here recently that I’ve been running with. I met them through ripping out their spines, as all great friendships start.
Beatable… but its tough. Depends on mission and depends on multiple factors. Just hope its not 4 ft members that can lock on to u at any pt. Your gonna need a disc. If there all using a hammerhead its laser city x 4. Pdl is troll… 4 pc not using support but using 4 dmg classes w/ duelist/ sniper/leader/ spotter is far worse than going vs a medic
Randoms in Quick Play being mind boggling is the first thing I’ve agreed with you on since we met. There’s a reason if you’re doing Solo QP you bring out the big guns like Recon Sniper with Tracker Perk & PDLs so you can always have the Pred spotted through lighting up the map with PDLs which spot the Pred for 9 seconds each. Or a Field Medic Dante with Thick Skin & OWLF so you can tank through everything and get everybody up. Or a sneaky OWLF with Gearhead & OWLF Trained to have a bunch of Gear items & a ton of tankiness. Just crazy strong builds that make up for the fact your team is going to do fuck all.

@SomeknowmeasXeno I don’t wanna call you out in a defaming way or out of rudeness, but you can’t simultaneously play “Honorably” while also claiming to be “Best PSN Predator”. The two don’t line up.
Role Playing as a Pred while playing Pred is the worst thing anyone can do in this game period. It wastes time. Opens you up for shots. Wastes opportunities for damage, etc.

I have a general list of rules of what will make me instantly leave a random match: If someone manages to dumb enough to get hit/downed by a smart disc, I leave. If someone gets shot by a bow more than once and doesn’t even try to sepentine to avoid them, I leave. If someone’s afk at the start, I leave. If someone gets downed almost immediately upon the predator attacking, I leave.
I feel better about myself if I don’t do crazy broken builds as Pred and play in a way that FT can deal with an actual Honor Code. There’s no fun to be had just by running something that can one hit down a dude with the Smart Disc or Caster. Maybe it does affect my effectiveness. Maybe that is why I haven’t beat Mojo yet. But I’d rather not resort to cheap shit to get my wins.
Also, if I see someone in a default outfit, I leave.
U understand the pc disc users can put the best ft down / with dpi up to 3k… its easy to qudra tap one person

Not that hard with training + third person view + instant max projectile velocity, which is the entire issue BTW.
On console yes, thats a fair and correct argument, it’s completly untrue on PC tho because you can switch DPI on the fly and make the Disk incredibly easy to use.
I don’t leave. Preds waited 8-9 minutes to get a match. They deserve something to play against. And I don’t leave if the FT quit out leaving just 1 or 2 dudes on their end either. I go down and make friends with the Fireteam and say I’ll help them do the mission since a 1v1 or 2v1 ain’t fair on them. I ain’t here to kick or bully people around the Jungle/

Also should mention that you can’t ever be a “Best Predator” if you can’t play Fireteam.
You have to at least understand what the other side thinks of when you’re engaging them, what routes to take, how to get around the map, where Map Spawned Gear Items are. This is why I’m a Hybird Player. I can literally play the full game and understand what both a Fireteam or a Predator might do in a given situation and go from there.
