Since 2.0 been getting a strange intermittent flicker in brightness in the game. It doesnt seem to be in any other program or app on my machine… Anyone else notice this? It reminds be of a loose monitor cable, but that’s not what’s causing this.

No, it’s more of a general twitchy flashy flicker of brightness that seems to be most noticable in the menus but does happen in the game too… Not sure whats causing it, so I messed with graphic settings to no avail.
What I experienced is a flicker due to error message screens which are sometimes coming up very shortly and which in most cases were related to losing the contact to other team members of a group.
But the duration of this kind of flicker is very short and seldom in my case. Does it sound like that can be the reason for your problem?

I guess it should be possible to find that out: make a video and look at the single frames during flickering. If you find single pictures in the stream, which e.g. just show error messages, you know whats going on…

Its the issue with actual shadow quality settings and anti aliasing.
Thats what’s been causing shit frames and laggy gameplay
