Stuck weapon wheel bug - 1.08 public match PC *fixed as of 1.09 i think *

The weapon wheel gets stuck if you melee then open the weapon wheel at the same time or right after.

the weapon wheel key is no longer being pressed in the video yet it remains open until you press the weapon wheel button again.

pred weapons can now be keybound, you don’t need the wheel any more

I used to get that sometimes but now with rebinds I don’t go anywhere near that thing

Except for wristblades

wristblades can be used no matter what weapon you have equipped (except stick and disc).
Hence they don’t need a bind .

I know. I like to take them out specifically as its a totally predator thing to do. It would be as easy as 1 for plasma and hold 1 for blades. To have a bind for every other weapon on the wheel but no blades which are selectable with an animation is botched.

not sure I get the point, especially in a combat situation.
But on the basis that every weapon and equipment is supposed to be bindable I agree (the pred medkit is also not bindable).

But there’s a work around for blades

I enjoy taking out the claws specifically and seeing them extend. Its badass. The selection exists on the wheel it was just omitted. In a game where we can customize our predator but not be expected to use the wristblade selection which exists but has no binding i find bizarre and simply another half baked implementation. Good point with medkit. What is the use in some keybinds and some weapon wheel… Half baked.

I think we agree then.
(I personally don’t see the point in binding blades as they are usuable even when when most other weapons are equipped).

But if everything is supposed to be bindable then “EVERYTHING” should be

Yes we do agree. It irks me is all. As for functionality you are right. Selecting blades is for the visual and immersion component. For example 87 predator has its own cosmetics for the blades but should i want to see them in their full glory i would need to use the weapon wheel or select plasma then scroll wheel. I understand this isnt the most pressing request but im not impressed with the current lack of thoroughness of hotkey implementation.

on the binding I agree totally.
as it exists it actually creates “dead” keys (where the bind doesn’t work because of the specific equipment/weapon associated with the slot), and it depends on loadout.

Move your med kit to another slot and the key that used to work no longer does

Yeah, if u remember that private match we did, us two… it was stuck on combistick for me i couldnt change to wristblades lol…
