Would be cool to get some predator trophies as weapons. Flintlock pistol and massacre machete for example.

Yes would be really nice to get this one. Don’t understand why they design such fantastic weapons and give them only as trophies. At least some of them should really get their way to weapon slot.

Well, on the flintlock and revolver, reload times would be through the roof. Especially the flintlock. High damage, very short range, unholy reload time for a single shot. Neat, but totally impractical. The revolver would be the only viable one of those two, considering there is already a modern revolver.

I think the trophies should affect long claims. Give each trophy its own special animation to play.

Don’t get me wrong, I would LOVE a long claim animation where you use your trophy weapon to kill the FT member, like the katana or African dagger. That would be sweet.

I think the best way to make all of them work is to make them unique stealth kills. Like Pistol + Flintlock the pred walks up behind the fireteam and shoots them in the back, Daggers + Knives + all other melee have unique kill animations. With this would come new stealth kill animations for long range weapons such as net gun, bow, plasmacaster, plasma pistol. The net gun would net them and then they would get shanked to death with wristblades, the bow the pred would choke the ft to death with the bowstring, the plamapistol magdumps the entire remaining magazine into the FT’s back, and the plasmacaster does a short range fully charged blast into the FT’s back.
