I think if parrying wasn’t a broken and inconsistent mechanic, the game would have a much easier time for both sides. Do something like For Honor or Chivalry. Opponent throws a light, counter it with a riposte or parry by pressing the correct input. You miss it, you get punished. Ofc, Predator would have to take the cake and be much more difficult to fight but y’know, that’s how it should be. At the same time, FT still needs a tutorial, a parry rework and a tutorial for the rework would be greatly appreciated.
Isabelle runs fast enough, takes enough damage, and when played correctly, does more than enough. It’s just that she’s outclassed by Dante, Dutch, and Recon. If we really wanted to make her viable, I’d say replace the ranged damage increase with Scout’s post-sprint damage increase.
