Could routh have been a better superman? With a different script and director I think he really could have been . I think spacey and singer went on a few trips to their friends island instead of working on the actual movie , also I didnât really think much of bvs when I first watched it but when I watched the ultimate edition I didnât actually think it was as bad
Routhâs movie couldâve been so good, but whatever, Bryan Singer is crazy overrated. Routhâs TV superman kinda redeemed him. It wasnât nearly long or in depth enough cuz there was the whole Crisis thing, but it sets him up as the ultimate version of Superman that all others should try to be like. A Paragon of Virtue I think they called him. I sure wish HBO max would give him a series.

Why is hollywood terrified of anything other than recasts?
I would probably put it down to they want to pander , rather than put any effort into being creative anymore . Years back , studios probably gave very little fucks as long as you put their money to good use and they seen a good return . Most of the original creators sold their work for peanuts so you would have companies under cutting creators for big investment , to then have hacks just keep rehashing to hold onto the rights . It wasnât until a few years ago a law was brought in where original creators get their intellectual property back after 30 or so years , I think James Cameron gets terminator back very soon? J.J abrams is a skidmark in film making , starts one movie and takes a completely unrelated script and morphs it to fit a previous film . The reboots and remakes and recasts just shows how actually untalented (idea wise) they actually are

We just had black panther though and people were waiting for him to enter the cinematic franchise for awhile. Its like theyâre so low faith the only option is to replace an existing character with a black actor rather than introduce black characters that havenât had their turn at all despite having long running comics/shows.
Weâre gonna have to wait another 10 years for this sjw woke shit can die off.

Black panther wasnt a good movie to me and Iâve never looked at the comics , luke cage on netflix had a good first season and the second sucked . I really get the impression and its the same with the remakes but with an all female cast , they are company appointed hacks in charge who then cry racism or sexist if the movie sucks . I can remember nobody was aloud to say they didnât like black panther , what rubbed me the wrong way with bp ? The fact they yelled from the rooftops about the first black superhero movie , so do we just forget blade was out in the 90s? đ

The villain was low effort af. Panther but a different color suit. I hate when they do palletteswap villains. In general though I meant bringing the character into the avengers and watching him try to kill bucky, was better than the entirety of his solo film.
I hope the blade reboot is good

This guy explains why itâs a dumb idea to swap stuff like race, gender, etc. In a nutshell, it takes basically no talent to do it, rather than invent something new, coupled with activists who donât really care about the IPâs theyâre writing. Makes for a real shit-show. Were it made as clear as the crystals Marlon Brandoâs Jor-El made a ship out of that this new Superman takes place in an alternate universe, itâd be fine and theyâd have freedom to do whatever they want. And who knows, it may be that. But I do know that Jar Jar Abrams certainly has his slant and likes to shoehorn stuff in places it donât belong. So weâll see.

Blade is very cool too. Although only 1 of the movies was good, Wesley Snipes was the PERFECT casting choice.
