Havent been the pred once in my past 100 games by picking no preference.
Potentially remove this mechanic and allow groups of people to lobby up in groups of 5? (Since private lobbies no longer work, this way you can have a tighter scope on if people are earning consistent crazy amounts of V and label those people as cheaters?)
Making the lobby search engine more generalized could assist in wait times and pair up people easier?

Its very uncommon, because of the amount of people wanting to play pred, but it does happen.
And they are never going to allow “official” matches with a friend as the pred, because you can cheat and grief so easily.
That’s why I feel maybe it could interfere with their matchmaking system.
Why have 3 roads that position you into 2 roles?
Can give priority to the dedicated choices people make and if these systems were enhanced and worked upon it can possibly provide more routes/dedicated matchmaking lobby searches. In theory?
I also wish they at least fixed private lobbies (ps4) so I can rotate with my friends. Can remove exp and v since private lobbies would be considered “for fun”.
Making people play quickly to earn exp and V.
You can show off your stuff to your friends that you earned in your own time and give you a sense of pride over what you worked for :)

I’ve played private after this current patch with no prob, like actual matches set up by ppl.
Are you on ps4 or pc?
I dont think ppl should be labeled as cheaters for farming, but I also wouldnt care too much if they removed rewards from privates. But I dont think that would solve anything.
As for your idea, it doesn’t sound bad, but idk if it would fk up the ques too much. Not sure.

Well it just makes sense to me. Why pick an option that may mess with itself. It obviously caters to people playing FT to balance the game at the time, but why make the game think that much?
Give it clear paths and heighten and strengthen those matchmaking paths. Could encourage for smoother experiences.
Also the fact you never are pred despite it seeming like you could is silly lol.
You can choose ther or so just chop that last option to strengthen the other searches

But, literally I’ve played a full private lobby right after path 10.0 came out.

Trust me I’ve done more annoying things to try to make them work.

Yeah region is going to have a lot to do with it. 1.09 we couldn’t play in private matches, we could make the lobby, but we would all get kicked on load in. Haven’t had issues since 1.10, 3-4 US players usually and 1-2 UK players…
1 to 4 works great.
Just the 5th one in gets kicked usually.

Nope @Elliott626. And why do I reply this way?? Some People like the Preference Option. Others don’t. Everyone wanted to play as Jason in Friday the 13th, and that was mostly Random (even with the supposed “Choice”).
Just like with Private Matches and People currently complaining about that, us as Players can either choose or not choose an Option. That’s why it’s there in the first place.
But the one that makes you not choose, makes you choose only one of the 2 choices.

You choose no preference and only get FT. Why not pred once in a blue moon?

I dont understand why they dont just do what they did in Friday the 13th were it was just quick play and you could choose in your setting who you perfer to play that way its all one que and anyone could potentially be predator and why is it after every game it must disband makes no sense
