They do need nerfing when it takes far more effort and skill to defend against a tactic then it takes to execute it. This means that person of skill A can pull the attack but someone with equal skill canāt defend against it. Predators can defend the berserker all you want but its getting nerfed. Its just absurd and takes no skill.
Just lost to a hunter just right now, he played beautifully from stealth and kill 2 of us and 2 escape (i was dead, that is why I said I lost).

@ DeadEyeBuddha Much of things in game they streamlined it to make it a fast paced game. Target isolation exist for that factor so the game can be completed within the time limit. You can choose not to use it if you find the experience not authentic. They should also remove defusing of predatorās bomb as no humans should be able to defuse alien tech hehe.
They could add in a custom private match settings for those that want a different experience, (removing time limit, tgt isolation, defusing etc)
I do hope they allow, team switching in a lobby though, so players can fill up an empty pred spot and possibly improving matchmaking

Yeah a video game people have spent Ā£39.99 on or Ā£49.99 to go in for fun to be slaughtered in 120 seconds because illfonic has a machanic one button targeting isolation vision, wheres the customers monies worth on a fair balanced game you arrogant prick

āFast pacedā, exactly. Thatās the problem, the games are forced to be played as quick as possible. Iād rather there was no timer, because the current length is stupidly short. If they just doubled the current length it would improve the experience all round, allowing for more thoughtful approaches and giving the Predator a more satisfying hunt.

Absolutely these changes would be a game changer for everyone to enjoy and get their monies worth.
You are right lol. Set me thinking. I used to play a game called hunter: call of the wild where I have to literally prone and crawl to hunt an elk. The hunting element is there which can be extremely slow and draggy but I do agree the āfast pacedā element forces predators/yautja in this game to engage or lose to the timer.

I cant comment much on the future of the game as there are times it is wiser to follow majority of players preference but also other times where it is better for the devs to choose what they really want for the game to be. (A game can die either way)
Adding custom settings for private matches would be good I guess to cater to specific requests but lets see how it goes

If 90% of us gamers also knew that weād be paying Ā£34.99 or Ā£49.99 for the exact same experience and maps that we had from the 2 day trial weād wouldnt be having this coversation lol allowing a machanic like a one button push like tracking isolation in such fast paced small mapped empty online game like this to help predator pin point the fire teams location straight from the start has fucked it side ways, i love illfonic for what theyāve done with everything else but these issues are the nail in the coffin unless there changed asap for the sake of many PHG gamers.
If the game sorted those issues and added more maps it will have a bright future if not im 100% certain itāll be dead.

I mean I use scout and motion trackers to find where the FT is since I know where the main camps the FT are more likely to go because I play the game and know that the scan can be easily countered by mud and every FT member should constantly apply it unless youāre one of those who the FT typically refer to as bait because theyāre morons or new but by the way you type to everyone here you have moron written all over you if youāre bitching about an optional game mechanic that can be countered right off the bat.

As a hardcore predator with a high kill rate, I think target isolation is very cheap and only use it when looking for boars for health. I believe the Devs could make the sound indicator bar function a little better, that way the predator would have to use all of his senses to locate prey.
