Temporary slam fix

People just want to play the game. With slam animation canceling still working, slamming through rooftops, and, now, double slamming, illfonic should reduce slam damage to 50 and make the cool down 1 minute. I’m not sure how complex the code is for slam, but they seem to be having trouble fixing it, so a couple of simple changes to make it less of a deciding factor will refocus the hunt to actually using your weapons and gear.

That’s good. I’ll have to test how many hits exactly it takes from other weapons as well.

It doesn’t help at all with the rooftop problem nor does it make it fair, but at least it’s a good thing to know.

Roof slam is not an issue, it’s there for a reason.
A minute cooldown and 50 damage…my god. Might as well just remove it all together. Double slam will be fixed next patch.

Roof slam does need some fixing, i agree the dmg needs to be reduced a little. It does need to be on a cooldown. When the objective requires something to interact with inside a building, the FT member shouldnt be screwed cuz a cheap pred taking advantage of constant slamming. Most of us dont play in a group either so it sucks seeing newbies getting wrecked trying to revive each other.

Next patch is fine, if the patch is next week. I don’t want a month of that, and it will drive away the fireteam playerbase. I’ll never roof slam out of principle, but maybe the devs have intended to leave that. I hope not.
