Narrowed waist and muscle shading on the arms gives the Elder a more athletic look. The face and roar are very important distinctions, as well.

Face and roar will only ever be heard or seen if you get your mask blown off which is rare unless you’re only ever going up against highly accurate teams or being stupid. The waist is minimal to the point it’s not really all that noticeable in game and as for the skin just slap on classic and he looks 90% identical.
The horns can be shown off with the breather mask.
And hunter 87 has a barrel belly. Very different from Elder.
The hair spikes mean nothing if they’re hidden behind the elder/JH mask which is my point. Unless you lose your mask which is rare you can make elder look like a near exact copy of JH. Now we have an exact copy by another name and a near exact copy with different stats to make him unique enough.

Oh I guarantee you we will because technically speaking he’s not JH he’s the captured pred. Mind you I say this because some guy a few months back argued that the JH we have in game is not the real 100% JH and wanted an authentic one called Jungle Hunter instead of JH 87.
Even though in canon jungle hunter went to earth at 87, not to mention that there isn’t just one JH it’s a clan.
All I know is that I want Illfonic to release Greyback and before anyone says he’s already in the game then I call bullshit because what we have here is clearly called elder not greyback.
