Thanks for asymmetric multiplayer only!

Singleplayer had been a waste of resources just like Clash is.

Take a look at the Battlefields or other games with added short single player campaigns.

Currently, real humans are still far superior to AI in games.

And no one needs a story here. Predator: Hunting Grounds has got awesome atmosphere - excelling most games with ease. And a pro tip: If you want to enjoy a story just watch some streams during the waiting times. You will have plenty of time. ;)

Tell that to Tier 3 For Honor bots
Evolve AI teammates
Smite Hard bots

Making good bots takes time, but having bots to rely on instead of newer players having to rely on randoms that leave when the 30-second pre-game timer is counting down and thinking it’s funny is taking its toll on the game. I mean, you’ve got people reviewing the game as dead, unbalanced, or both.

Bots would be a wise decision at this point, the game is indeed dying and it won’t last 2022 without some major content updates or a solid AI addition to either faction. Adding new characters and maps only spices up the game for the month it came out in. Then it’s back to the same old same old. A new game mode would keep it interesting for about 4 months, if they play their cards right, meaning it doesn’t release a buggy unstable mess like Clash did.

I meant added classic single player campaigns with story.

By the way, haven’t experienced a single leaver in prematch like you described. The only ones leaving are players on Epic if they get eliminated early and feel ashamed since filters and macros could not save them and they don’t want to wait till getting respawned.

Sure, bots are nice to have. However, Free to play is the way to go to keep multiplayer games alive.
