Just gonna spread some light, I see a lot of negative regarding the patch. But Devs keep up the good work there’s still work to be done, the patch doesn’t completely balance the game, but the game IS more balanced then it was at launch.

At launch I couldn’t lose as FT we were unstoppable in fact it was rare a predator dropped anyone in my team, post patch it’s a struggle and it should feel like a struggle the predator shouldn’t be killed with no effort. For those that keep whining about the patch, it was NEVER gonna take ONE PATCH to fix the entire game and balance it, idk what world you guys live in, but find your way to this world, 1 step in the right direction with more to come, thank you !

As a FT primary player I advocated for FT nerfs and they certainly implemented most of them which I am happy about. After actually playing the patch I am still not having a very hard time killing preds but that isn’t game balance related it is skill level related, there are still a lot of really bad predators (And FT members) in matchmaking that need to keep getting their butts kicked to get better lol

For once I had matches where the fire team get away I’ve killed them a few times and they respawned but I was content though they were a tight team I manage to kill one guy before he got away lol. But it was satisfying match over all

People are mistaking UP for a lack of skill, a really good predator will wipe the team, even if they power the predator up further the really good predators would dominate and they would still suck because they just aren’t playing right IMO, the predator controls are clunky not smooth at all but once you play acouple rounds and unlock some stuff it becomes easy I just wish the wait times weren’t so long

I’ve met some tough FT’s where it took awhile to kill them but the hunt becomes more satisfying that way

This I agree with the game launched with NO content At all and broken, but they’re working on it, they fixed Friday too which suffered from the same issues so let’s see what happens

I mean, they also drove Jason into the dirt to cater to the crying councilor population compared to vanilla. That was a game where the killer was meant to kill you not really the other way around. Escaping was supposed to be tough enough lol

You are right. Personally I feel like the game is MUCH and I mean MUCH more balanced than before. I’m happy with my plasma caster not one shotting. I’m happy the combi stick isnt the key to easy victory.
I’m happy getting shot isn’t a god damn death sentence like this is dayz.

The game isn’t perfect but it’s currently much better than it was before. Illfonic did a good job. They are listening to our complaints. Its gonna take some polish but they are going the right way.

The current state of the game is dont be a dumbass as fireteam, running off alone and not helping your team and you should(not guaranteed. You are a soldier and you know what you signed up for. )be fine.

Predators don’t be expecting to kill all your prey in the first encounter. Don’t go charging in a prey you downed before checking that their friends aren’t around the corner. You are a master hunter, not a dummy. Slow pace and tactical, let them bleed and weaken before the grand coup de grace.

You all seem to be missing the point…when you release a game I expect to get a playable at launch we should not be waiting for a patch to fix a somewhat unplayable game at launch so good for them for fixing it but this should have been done pre launch since they are charging people full price

Not wrong, I agree but game wasn’t unplayable atleast for me I’ve had zero issues playing. My main issue is lack of content at launch, 40-60$ with little to no content is a joke. Somebody said there’s 3 maps in this game and I laughed all the maps look EXACTLY the same

they arent fixing shit , some minor changes to balancing to keep everyone satisfied and people buying the game rather than tearing it to shit in the media , they arent even addressing the elephant in the room , the shit load times and poor matchmaking , have they even said they will fix it ? "we are in, terrible company scamming people , this is the second game they have launched littered with bugs , problems and poor matchmaking , look what happened with f13th … useless company

The game is 30 $ now. It’s not perfect I’ll give you that but nowaday even big games like diablo or cod encounter some issues at release. we gotta consider that these guys have lot less budget en workers than blizzard for instance. Add to that the fact that we are in a pandemic and you get a pretty hard situation for game release. Maybe they should’ve made a beta release.

They said they are working on it. If you wanna be a ‘‘Karen’’ and talk directly to them via discord… well sorry but your opinion isn’t that important and they got others things to do. With what you said, we can clearly see you are misinformed on the company. F13 encountered a major problem and was forced to stop adding contents to the game because of a lawsuit from the creator of the franchise. It’s people like you that gives bad review to a company/game they don’t even know.

problem is its there is commenting on balance and there is whining because people suck and want an easy mode. hopefully illfonic can tell the difference.
