I haven’t seen it but as your CHAMPION I feel emboldened to write a review. SCHWARZENEGGER was awesome as always. Jesse Ventura really brought it. I always feel a kinship with guys like SCHWARZENEGGER cuz they’re TOUGH GUYS like me. I’m not sure if the guy who played Pred in the original acted in this one but some of his moves and strategy wereWEAK. As CHAMPION I should of played PRED and shown the audience my ARSENAL of awesome MOVES and SKILL. NO AXE??? That’s preds best weapon and one I’ve won many a game with! Why not have JESSE VENTURA duel the PRED with the AXE!!! #GETSOME

That synopsis would have made a better movie than the actual Badlands, and I would have championed it for success… But this is reality my friend, and as great as you are there is no way to look past the utter shitshow that has just been released with the Predator being the latest skinsuit for whatever that fucking mess was trying to represent…
All the red flags in the final set of trailers were just the bad smell, and as you got close to the movie itself you could start to sense that something rotten was there. And boy, not only was it worst than I could have imagined, it was a utter disgrace to the canon/lore and was a Predator movie in name only. It would have been an okay science fiction movie, and enjoyable. But it was supposed to be a Predator movie. Not some fucking high school theatre presentation for the emo kids… Thank God I didn’t pay to see it because I’d be suing them for false advertising and compensation for my traumatic experience.
Trashenberg must never be allowed near the franchise again. Period. He fluked it with Prey clearly, and the addition of Dutch and Harrigan to the end of KOK proved how little imagination he has and how much he cared for the franchise and it’s millions of loyal, dedicated fans.
I’m off to take a shower with my toaster.

Took 40 years to get some proper character development to the predator. Just be glad haha.

Huge let down. If you were introduced to the predator by watching predator 1, 2, predators, AVP 1 or 2, hell if you evem liked the predator dont watch this movie. Its a bait and switch that lured you in by showing predator fighting aliens and if you seen the trailer youve seen 80% of those scenes. SPOILER INCOMING
Dek being a “runt” (which for the 100th time was Dan making excuses for his design change to save ticket sales since he trashed winstons) wants to prove hes a worthy hunter so he chooses to hunt the big monster his dad was afraid of, later baby yoda monkey shows up and cutting through the filler, he then decides not to hunt that giant monster cus its like baby yoda only fully grown which happens to be baby yodas mother so in the end they all become friends and bud (baby yoda) kills deks dad and now dek has his “clan” of a synth and teenage yoda. Predator learned to love, protect, and lead so he never actually hunted the monster because it was baby yodas mom. Then deks mom comes in to close the movie. Predator is now being leaned more to a womens franchise. Now ppl who champion this as a great movie may come here and make some indirect jabs at those who dont like it but thats the movie. Even tho the review saying it was lgbtq related and all that were trolling its still pretty lame minus the 2-3 alien species he kills.
Dek needs help from the half body synth and the girl baby yoda to beat the flawless evil girl robot who both thia and tessa have ability to feel while all the other synths are just dumb so they make them men i guess and are cannon fodder. So next movie may be thia, dek, and bud being too weak to fight the women predator so they end up finding dutch, harrigan, and naru so they can help fight the girl predator cus she will be dubbed the most dangerous predator in the universe. Other tid bit, deks brother kwei whooped deks ass but deks father kills kwei pretty easily then later dek kills the fathers guards star wars style then proceeds to beat the father fairly easily til teenage bud comes in to help dek finish off his dad. Thats the movie in a nut shell

This film 8/10 Solid action adventure film. Incredible environments make you disbelieve it was all CGI!
A very dense story driven film. I found it entertaining all the way.
Nothing about it stood out to me like a thorn.
My expectations, which I felt confident in about some ideas, were slightly different but altogether acceptable. Since we saw little in the trailers, much of the secrets were explored on film and with much detail.
CGI effects were there in every shot making things very comprehensible.
Everyone is talking about MUTHER in the end. I won’t spoil it but i’ll derail on the details.
I just think at least finally we get more to explore in the future of the franchise rather than leave everyone having to tread back to the second one and then the third and the forth.
That said, this film also makes THE PREDATOR and Killer of Killers a redunant peice of backlog of filler content. Maybe it was a way to set forth production processes as these films are very complex/costly to begin with.
It gave me slight hints at altering conventional sc-fi ideas slightly especially the battle between the synths and dek and the halves of Thia and Tessa.
