Is it just me or is the butthurt with some Fire Team players incredibly strong? With one exception, whenever I take out a team and a player has a mic they talk some sort of trash. “He’s a Berserker he has no life!” Or some other ridiculous variation. There was one team that just said “we gave him a fight though” which was respectable but other than that it’s some sort of crap. Probably the same people who were calling me a scrub when I was first getting acclimated to the game and finding myself cornered and cut to shreds by their miniguns(still happens once in a while).
That aside I do find this game incredibly fun. I grew up watching Predator and this is a really cool callback. Nice work Illfonic!

Ya the fireteams do get butthurt I notice they r try hards. But bro as long as u winning who cares.what gets me is the ones that get brave an follow when ur in laststand.

I do that. I chase preds when they are on second wind. Lol
I actually had one guy that was chasing me on second wind but I tend to get pretty far away I change directions erratically and he was angry “how did he get this far away?!” And they hadn’t found me in time to stop me from getting up XD

lol I haven’t come across it too much. Two instances come to mind, one I was a Pred and the last guy left was a mini gunner and I just said eff it and bull charged him as I knew he was hurting as I had already hit him with a plasma blast and I cut him down and as I was I could hear him complaining saying “how in the hell didn’t that kill you.!?”
The second instance was as a FT member and we spawned in and we’re all talking smack about how we were gonna kill the Predator and how weak he was and this and that, the FIRST encounter with the Pred and we got whooped. The lobby was dead quiet and then in the after match screen I heard one of my teammates just say, “well then…”.

But see the fire ream should not be able to chase u down if u can’t fight back thats not fair either though.this game right now is fireteam hunting grounds.lol so u can hear the team after the match ends? I didnt know that
Now that I’m in full agreement with. Second wind needs a speed buff or something cuz too often I’m able to chase down and be chased down. Let me leap at least.

Yeah it makes completely no sense it feels backwards if I’m at last stand and I should be able to fight back or at least jump away because that humans should not be as fast as me
turn audio voice chat all the way down in the options. I did this before my first game. I don’t want to hear annoying randoms say anything ever.

Yea some members of the fire team move a tad fast, I think it’s the Scout? I was using the Scout Predator yesterday and the last guy was a Scout FT member and it legit took me a couple minutes to chase his ass down. He just kept running as he knew I was chasing him, but I couldn’t believe how long it took me to catch up to him.

But it’s fun to chat back at them when they don’t know where you’re at. Talk a little smack, crack a joke while hiding in the trees. Whisper “want some candy”. When I did this the first time, the entire Fireteam was laughing hysterically. Fun times.

This behaviour isn’t limited to Fireteams, there are plenty of Predator players out there that will act the same way.
That’s amazing, gonna give it a shot. Who know? It may just throw them off so they make a mistake!
Ya there speed is a lil off putting.but I hope they add some good game modes
I think the FT members here are FAR less toxic than the damn survivor mains over in Dead by Daylight. I swear there is NO worse community in all of gaming than damn DbD survivor mains.
The only other game mode I’d want is some sort of single player, maybe against bots, maybe some challenges like in F13. I also wouldn’t mind them adding different mission objectives for the FT. Keep things fresh.
Yeah I’ve been saying this in some other post like a contract system would work great like Sniper Warrior contracts. And even add Bots for online play if players leave not enough just fill it in with a bot like evolve did.even. 2 v 2 predators or something
