The Pred can do whatever he wants, there is a counter to all scenarios and no strategy is completely water tight.
When I play against competent FT’s I use all of these tactics at some point to try to keep them guessing. Too many Preds use one tactic and stick with it even after getting second winded.
You do have a point…
“Unfair” Pred mechanics tend to be talked about, addressed, and dealt with a lot faster and harsher than FT ones.

Role: Hybrid, but better with pred.
Proposed action or change: Reduce uncharged splash damage radius slightly, keep charged the same.
I’m tired of FT mains whining that they can’t kill a smart pred 2 minutes into the match because pred finally has a decent ranged weapon again and is playing smart.
