Role Predator
Purposed action: curretly the caster is simply put the best weapon in the predators arsenal as it was before when it was a one shot down now how do we deal with such a thing that somehow happend again? well we have 3 choices

1 we increase the energy cost of firing multiple shots in a row so say the first 2 shots are normal however after that it gets exponentially more expensive until overload
2we reduce the AoE of the caster by about 10-15% so it’s less likely to deal damage
3 we reduce the actual damage of the caster by the same percent as above which then just makes the caster worse in every concievable way so predators are back to bow meta (which never really left as all predators worth their salt carry one anyway

now between these 3 choices i’d say 1 or 2 is the best option with me leaning on 2

course we could also ya know give predator more ranged options but we haven’t gotten to that point yet apparently even though predators have been doing the same thing for 8 months and apparently everyone is okay with it

Grenades, target seeking shurikens, snare ropes by trees, a falcon drone with dutches knife taped on the front for God’s sake any other ranged weapon

Don’t touch the caster. It’s the only thing resembling an answer to a good team. Predator just doesn’t have the DPS necessary given FT perks, specializations, stacking damage buffs, and mission speed runs. These other things need to be addressed if the caster is going to be changed. I’m so sick of the trend of pred nerfs since inception as the FT gets its shaft stroked. Utterly ridiculous.
