Nice . I dont tend to use it as my main weapon and really use it if I’m getting lit up within distance . I’ve been running height advantage , large pouch and either down range or heated/light bender

It depends on the build, I’ve used it on hunter and scout and I can’t remember off hand the perks pretty sure modified reserve and or lightbender because when i use it the primary goal is stealth punishment.

I used to run light bender , heated and modified reserve . I liked to get in close and watch , but trying that now? Your spotted 9 times out of 10 and get smashed . Even with decoys and staying still on a roof , I get grenades lobbed at my feet

Sound will give you away. Drop a decoy or two strategically
I’m like a kid in a toy store I don’t stand still and console players have problems tracking the cloak if you move more than one direction.

I almost always use audio decoys, used them since the game released 😁 just loading into a game with dithered lense , I will keep you updated 😄

They completed their mission in 5 minutes , I wore them down and claimed two of them and two escaped , then I was called boring because I didn’t run in and get shredded 😁 the max damage a player dealt was under 600 , I didn’t heal or eat any pigs . Wore them down with bow and plasma , downed one with the combi and downed the other throwing the combi

It does require some more “aggressive” play obviously but distance is completely viable. They’ll never see you coming when you move after the shot though and it’s fun

Maybe if there was a good sniper on my team of randoms, we would have been able to push objective better.

I tried in the end to push objective while the other three were fighting the Pred but we all got wrecked eventually lol

I’m not sure how more aggressive you can be after 5 minutes? I tend to play as if I have 15 minutes, if they complete their mission in 5 minutes or under I move to melee, which I did in that game . Any component team melts you if you just plod on in and the two that escaped I didn’t even see them as there were hordes of AI I was trying to navigate . It was backwater , there mission was fully in the water village and when they finished ? The exfil was at the water on the bottom right 😁 they never had to leave the spot the whole time
