I want to make sure, even though there is the bug of showing visible parts of the Predator’s armor, does the ‘stand still and become invisible’ mechanic still work?

Nope. The way it looks to you is how it looks to FT. Broken.

So, if the Predator’s entire body is cloaked completely as it should be, not exposing armor, you can still see the shimmer even when they are standing still?

Oh that’s what you meant. So yeah if cloak looks correct to you it’s working properly. And you’re invisible when still.

It seems to be triggered by changing weapons while cloaked. So don’t do that until they fix it.
