Yeah sorry with AoE I really meant like based on static “field” of effect; I was hoping it would only work like a bear trap or claymore to be clear…you would throw it to place it, and it would create an area which if the pred steps over it, it gets triggered and decloaks him, and stays active in that spot for while.
But nope, it’s an actual grenade so it decloaks on impact as well

It looks like the emp grenade isn’t completely useless after all. I just faced a fireteam that was using it and it definitely made it harder for me to stay around them while cloaked.

It seems fairly harmless but I notice that it hangs for some time not timed it exactly yet and the impact part causes physical damage to the predator it’s very situational whether or not you take some damage but decloaked probably leads to a lot of damage from a decent FT at least it’s not overbearing like some of the assumptions I read on this forum and the uav is the same duration as a normal spot from assualt so that’s not terrible either and the predator has to have taken damage to be spotted by uav
Yea it leaves like an elctro magnetic field. I just dont use cloak when they toss em.
