Sometimes its faster, sometimes slower. But one thing i can say clear right now, if there is no crossplay, there was no games during 30 min…

I seriously think that there is a bug in matchmaking. If it goes two minutes past the expected time, just cancel and requeue.

Alas; unskilled console players for the most part refuse to take on PC players - I guess PC players are just at a different level than your casual console players.

Who’s whining peasant? I get plenty of games as I play in private parties - frankly the skill level of console players is way too low to make it fun for PC preds; thems just the facts.

As a console Predator that has handily destroyed full PC Fireteams fairly consistently and an individual that absolutely loves and prefers PC overall but simply lacks that capacity at present that is fucking hilarious.

If i were to venture a guess it could be that the game upon release had the balance ass-backwards. Having each individual FT member stronger than the pred, and able to beat him in a 1v1 with the knife…
Problem is, this is an Asymmetric game. Wjerein one side is supposed to be one OP guy, and the other side is supposed to be a team that needs to work together to survive…
The dynamic has started to move in the right direction with that last patch(1.06), and it was well received by smart people that understand what an Asymmetric game should be…
The frustrated Pred players, and the good FT players that have the testicular fortitude to enjoy a challenge were all happy…
The babies that played FT Just for the easy wins though, they imploded. Screaming and crying because frankly, they’re spoiled and cant stand to be told No…
Its actually Ironic. Because when they had the upper hand anytime a Pred player complained about the balance they would tell him to Git Gud, but now that they’re the ones who need to work a little and get better at the game, they’re running home with their tails between their legs… lol
Though honestly, they only said “Git Gud” to try and deflect what was being said. They thought they could hide the truth about the games broken balance and it would stay a cake walk for them for ever…
they were wrong, and now they’re rage quitting like little sissy-girls… lol

As a fire team player mostly i have to say a lot of the guys have totally the wrong perks, they all seem to think having the reduce damage when predator attacks will save them. personally i prefer pig in shit and ice cold, the amount of times predator has been right above me or run past me while i am hiding in the bushes is amazing. This game is a game of skill, don’t work together and your screwed. The balance in my mind should be left alone, and Illfonic should work on the graphical issues the waiting times.
I helped PS4 players a lot to win…
I almost lose when I play with PC players and the PS4 is a predator.
by the way, I think when we quickly kill a predator, the predator is controlled by a child.

You fricking high dude? The last patch was crap.
You do not take a crap ton of healing away from one group and then spam healing to the other. All you just did was flip the problem. Not hard to understand. Reduce AI? WHY? Don’t address duplicate loot boxes, but nerf how much you get back? Again, WHY? Don’t fix weird bugs where predator falls out of trees? AGAIN, WHY?
It has nothing to do with “smart people”, if anything a decent game designer would of been pulling out their hair from the last patch. I think the smart people sat out the last patch. That attitude only reinforces people not wanting to play. Plenty of Predators were rolling FTs well before the patch. I’m going to keep saying it, IF YOU DONT HAVE FT, YOU CANT PLAY AS PREDATOR. If the FT absolutely suck and are just fodder, no one wants to play as them. The balance is required.
The knife issue has been a problem since day 1… have they fixed it? NOOOOOO, They completely went around it. And it needs to be! The knife should only be used for a parry or two, that prolongs the players life for a second or two giving a chance for someone to get to them. It should not be taking stam from the predator, nor inflicting damage.
Honestly, the knife should be for two things, a couple parries (and then it is exhausted or broke by predator’s blade) and for running a little faster - because we have given in to this mindset in gaming that you always run faster with a nice… thx FPS Doug, lol. Outside of those two things, it should do NO damage to predator - or such a small amount that it is laughable.
If a player did not use a knife, they cannot “1v1” a predator. It’s not possible unless the person playing Predator is having a seizure, or has never played a game of any time before. It’s pretty hard for 2v1 a predator, and 3v1 can be challenging from a good predator.
Again, adding a few things to fix… such as the blinding during second wind and maybe add an additional 25-40% speed boost for him to gtf away will stop the stupid FT bs of trying to chase him down - plus with getting rid of the bs knife shit, stop the main issue with FT all together.

It doesn’t help that it’s only on 2 platforms and only on epic store. I’ve heard some people won’t even play it because that it’s on epic store.

In fact, i think Taking Grenade Launcher’s Explode on impact was a mistake, and put the FT at too much of a disadvantage vs. Berserker…
FT isnt “Just Fodder” now. FT was OPAF before patch 1.06. Now its more even…
Again, there are definitely balance issues. Giving the Predator isolation on the boar was an excellent add. Adding (whether a bug or not) where the map now spawns 15+ boars and a bunch together was just dumb.
Reducing FT medkits from 3 to 2 and limiting med kits around the map was a good shot at balance too. Removing (whether bug related or not) pretty much all med kits from the map, was again, stupid. Then increasing their weight to the player? Wtf? Now I understand if they don’t really want any class other than support carrying both ammo and med (because even Scouts were, WHICH again, DUMB and OP for FT), FINE, but put a restriction to all classes, one or the other… don’t increase the stupid weight.
They did damage reduction to guns at close range - again, what? As any of these would become less powerful at close range? Did something just unintelligible with the Grenade Launcher… all for what? These weren’t the issues dogging the predator. The Predator could use a bit of an armor buff, and get rid of this shit with the knife + help the predator gtf away from the players safely and successfully with second wind so it really is not possible for any FT to keep or catch up with them.
So much facepalming in this patch was crazy.
But they weren’t OPAF before the patch. As I said before… plenty of Predators were having no issue dispatching full teams before this.
Personally, I think people get caught up with the arbitrarily supposed win or loss. I have claimed 7 skulls in a match… but one still got away - for some reason a lot of people think this is a loss and somehow OP. Illfonic didn’t create the game in the way that it is specifically win/loss unless either the FT kills the Pred or he kills the whole team. The win/loss is really to what the player thinks. Personally if I was a FT, lossing anyone would be a loss to me - maybe not to the game. As Predator, not getting a single kill would be a loss for me. All of the rest is in between.
