The Game is finally "dead"

Player base is still here. Game can still be purchased and played online but…

Devs failed to deliver last update on the scheduled date (February)
Not only was the last update late, but also bugged. Their response to it? Remove the DLC (which is what basically the update was for) from the store.
They promised a “HotFix” within a few days and now it has been over a week of silence

At this point is safe to say they barely have anyone working on this game and they have probably moved on. The fact that the Paid DLC has not been fixed yet, that being on their best interest ($$$), shows that they have moved on and are probably not even going to milk this game anymore.

The game is dead. The active development on it is on a halt. I highly doubt any new updates will be released once they fix last update hot mess, if they even fix it. So far looks like they won’t. Or they’ll wait for a final “2 year anniversary” update and kiss the game good bye

It’s a shame, honestly. This game had so much potential.

There is all the leaked Preds, but I’m 99% sure they are dripfeed DLC that was completed long ago, like every other DLC we’ve had this last year (and thus untested, like Wolf).

And actually, speaking of Wolf…do they not boot up their test version of the game to see how the new models look before releasing them…? The mask and armor glitches, specifically…how could they not see it on their end when testing the model?

data mined info is not even that relevant. It may as well include ideas that may have long been ditched and updates may include stuff that was never there

Like, look how exiled, valkyrie, isabelle and dante were never data mined…

why a remaster? I had been playing that game the past few days and while some things look dated, most of it still looks just as good as many modern games

That must be it. Even the most noob developer of the most basic shovelware will check the models they create in their game to see how it looks. And I know games get glitches, some models will act or look a certain way based on certain conditions, but this is a universal problem. It baffles my mind that someone in their offices actually saw how horrible and incomplete Wolf is but said “whatever they’ll still buy it” and hit “save”.

I just want a new AVP game fr. I haven’t played the first 2 but I’ve heard good things about them. Seems like they always do a good job. Make a new one, we already got PHG & A:FT, just give us a new AVP, it’s been over a decade

I wouldn’t really know. I’d have to do some research. So theoretically if it does, then I could just stick an AVP 2010 PS3 disc in my PS5, and play it?

Yepp we’re moving to destiny 2. Slowly but surely. Way better game you guys. If nobody’s tried it pick it up quick I think it’s still free. Big download tho 60+ gigs
