THE HAMMERHEAD IS AWESOME! BUT IS IT TOO GOOD?

The AR has virtually no recoil when firing down the sights and the grenade launcher is sick forcing Predator to stay mobile cuz if you try to tank even one of those grenades your health is basically cut in half.

The weapon looks sleek and modern and pays hommage to the original AR-15 with the attachable M203 grenade launcher that Arnie used in the movie.

What do u guys think should it be left alone or nerfed?

Absolutely nerfed. Good AR? Acceptable. Underbarrel? Little much.

Problem is, I don’t see a damage, range, noise, or recoil nerf to be the solution. I think to keep the Hammerhead as is (which would be nice) would be to lessen the amount of carryable gear when equipped. Like say if I want the underbarrel, it’s -2 or -3 gear.
If I’m maxed on holding flashbangs, why can I hold grenade launcher ammo too without consequence?

Problem is the game doesn’t work that way.

They won’t nerf it till its free for all players. Then possibly the underbarrel will take up a number of gear points and remove the ability to have an extended mag.

I agree it should be nerfed but for me personally i just want the amount of grenades that can be fired to be cut down.

What is it like 10 grenades or something that you can fire? I think it should be cut down to like 5 max.

Yea most probably.

I could see a drop in the amount of grenades, the rifle itself is ok, the AR-W and GOSL-R are better rifles in my eyes, but the grenades are handy against AI or flushing out a predator hiding behind something, the damage on them is pretty low though

Noooo stop nerfing things. Some weapons will be stronger than others. The AUG has more DPS than this anyways just doesn’t have the nade launcher

My entire team went down and I took a pred out with this gun in 1vs1 but only because he was toying with me and it came back to byte him hard. He also decided to heal really close to me for some reason. The guy was really good as he fought all of us, no idea how he had that idea. The grenade launcher is useless assuming the predator has 2 neurons and keeps movie. The damage is also BAD considering the reload time, by far I prefer the bullets over the grenades when I am fighting the predator. In close combat you have better options, like the LMG (far better in my book). The Hammerhead is better then the LMG at range. I really don’t think you can claim its OP in any shape or fashion. If you want something OP look at predator smash.

PS. There is no way a grenade takes half your HP away.

Maybe not from one FT member but if all 4 are playing as Dutch and all of them have the Hammerhead unloading grenades on Predator he is basically done if they catch him not moving.

why nerf the new gun , they should nerf the predators more than the fireteam eg getting hit by slam when inside a building, people sticking with berserker predator over other predator classes,predators killing fireteam with 2 hits in hand to to hand , the list goes go on about nerfing things in the game, it looks like it might be getting Dead By Daylight nerfing syndrome

This gun feels fine to me. I havent had any issues dealing with it and it seems to do the same damage as most assault rifles. The Grenade launcher isnt much of an issue given that its range is quite poor and its radius is small.

It does seem to deal out a bit too much damage. Still need to give it more time though

I don’t know. I feel like I am getting shredded by just short and medium bursts from this rifle but I can’t really say for sure. I would like to see some tests done on it though.

to date I haven’t been killed by dutch.
they are loud, very loud.
had an FT with three dutch and one scout and it was a rage quit match (posted a vid in bugs)

Its perfectly balanced, ive been shot 1000 times by this thing, it’s literally the QR4. As for the underbarrel grenade launcher, a direct hit will do roughly the same amount of damage as the L96 point blank. I still use the Scar.

I dont know i think its a bit much because of the fact its two weapons in one.

IMO, the ammo for the grenade launcher needs to be reduced to 7… 11 rounds is obserd. Especially when majority is running with them.
And before anyone says
,“but its damage is weak”. Uh not when 2-4 Ft memebrs hail on you with grenades. its annoying af. You should cherish each round. Not blindfire bc you can then resupply… so I think 7 Is a reasonable ammo count
Other than that love the dlc And the weapon.

Oh and let me add, rang pred. But bounc back and forth between sides. don’t run it smh. Obviously.

I read someone tested the underbarrel and with ALL direct hits, the Predator still didn’t go down. So that means each nade does less than 10% damage on a direct hit which is fine with me

The nade damage is not over the top. I think this was a direct hit to my Scout.

Seems like it is meant for AI not Predator perhaps.
