That’s not what diminishing returns means. Diminishing returns means you’ve put too much into something, and are getting the same amount back but for more work. That’s not what’s happening. Sure they made the bulk upfront. Do 600,000 times 40 and that’s LOW BALLING HARD. Very VERY hard. Then the DLC they were making was cakkkke like literally 0 effort DLC. So the 7 bucks per person who was buying that added up and was WELL worth there time for that minimal effort. Do not defend this stuff man you’ll look silly. I like you! I really do. But defending them here will make you look very silly

Yeah, i had s brain fart there. I’m not defending them, I’m saying that as of about 6-7 months ago this phg probably crossed some financial line for what it means to be profitable in a long, and while they are working on it, it can’t be the main game anymore.

Perhaps the steam sales were not that great and that’s why they decided to put the new game into the rotation.

I don’t know what low effort means reguarding phg dlc. I have no point of reference or any way to tell how efficient or productive the team is.
