The Mini-Gun is a Tool not a Weapon!

So for the longest time I’ve been struggling to find a reason to get the Mini-Gun into public games and try and kill the Predator with it. However through my studies I’ve found it’s not meant to kill Predator, sure definitely damage but not kill. Instead it’s meant to be used as a tool to get the Mask off the Predator faster / deplete Predators health through chip damage / or get rid of large numbers of AI’s similar to the Plasma Rifle.

(Idk if anyone else figured it out but I just wanted to bring it to light that the Mini-Gun is useful to a extent.)

Pistol or knife is better than mini gun for mask / as soon as you pick mini gun Pred can easily down you with every rang weopon , so no chip damage / Greanade launcher or plasma prototype is so much better than mini gun against AI units

Actually the player is a Tool if they use the Minigun.

The only way I’ve ever seen it come in handy is if you’re alone and the predator is down while using the protection perk, and you need to kill them quickly for the defuse.

Otherwise, the DPS is no where near enough to make up for the inaccuracy and immobility.

It’s unnaturally inaccurate. Even IF you could hold an M134 in your hands, the accuracy would remain a straight line of lead and death. But the recoil would be so uncontrollable that it’d fly right out of your hands.

Point being, it should have greatly increased recoil along with dead center accuracy. Or how about they allow us to mount the damn thing on railings.

Mounting… they can’t even get leaping to work consistently around small objects or after deploying gear.

I agree that mounting would be cool, just like Battlefield games, but Illfonic could never hack it. 😔
