The new mode may include 2 v 5… considering the dmg of the FT at this point…
This may bring the game back inmo… or a 2 v 5. This will def make the game fun having 2 preds. No longer asymetrical… but 2 teams using differnt load-outs to complement.
Perhaps the 8 player mode will be 3FT and Pred vs the other 3 FT and pred. Or 2 pred vs 6 FT. Either way, it will be more balanced

Maybe. The strength of good FTs is communication. We haven’t seen what preds can do when the communicate.

I need to look at the game files more…may be stargazer vs FT. with 3 preds 6 vs 6 with 3 preds.

I guess. I still think that theres a huge gap between premades and randoms and that’s why it’s easy to justify 2v5 or 2v6 depending on which side you take. And illfonic has to take the side of randoms just because of the numbers
I don’t see them adding anymore players to the game. Makes absolutely 0 sense. Maybe for a PC only game mode but there is no way a base model PS4 can handle any more players. The frame rate dips to 15 with the current number of players. PS4 will undoubtedly self destruct with the addition of even 1 more player.

It’s not really the players, its that the whole map is rendered and all the foliage is moving around & they’re just bad at optimization. Remember when they enabled anti aliasing on ps4 and everyone was like WOW THE GAME LOOKS SO GOOD THIS IS INCREDIBLE
This game is nowhere near the limits of unreal engine lol. If ps4 can run rdr2 its fine.
Optimization is a factor but I’m not so sure the game will ever be fully optimized.
