Definitely think it’s possible, especially with the tweet’s wording, guess we’ll have to see! As welcome as the DLC is hopefully we can get non paid content updates as well as bug fixes, enjoyed the video!

Ehhh, there is a difference between Elder and Ancient Predator, no we don’t have an Ancient one in the game just an Elder

Alpha is literally the most Ancient you can get, and he unlocks at Level 100.

Couldn’t remember if it was Elder or Alpha that unlocked at level 100 haha my bad on that part, and that is 100% true Alpha is ancient but Nomad is referring to the actual specific title of Ancient Predator, which I was also referring too
hell, alpha is ABOVE the rank of ancient. you could just call him “fucking old and in great shape for 2025” and the title of ancient would still apply to him
Absolutely yeah, but Alpha is probably long dead, here’s hoping the new Pred, Ancient or not, is at least worth while and PRAYING it brings some well needed updates including bug fixes and non paid content, unlikely though
Difference is being an ancient Predator and being in the societal role as a ranked Ancient Predator. Alpha is indeed old as hell, but the series never said if he is canonically alive or dead. If anything, I lean on dead due to speaking of him like a story of legend rather than a living legend.
Alpha is more so the ancestor of the Yautja’s (known back then when they were called “Hish-Que-Ten”). As for if they are still around, it’s 50/50 canon wise but in the books they are fewer in numbers but still around. Then again the Alpha Predator itself was a collab with NECA with their own take on the lore as they usually do, so yeah take that as you will🤷
Ancient as the Rank we haven’t gotten to play as in this game but others we have like AVP: Extinction being the closest with the Ancient Nuke Carrier.
If IllFonic wants to make it easier for themselves not to make a original Ancient Predator design, they’d probably aim for the only Movie Predator that would fit the role like the AVP Elder Predator (despite him being a labeled a Ancient Predator)
If we do get an Ancient Predator, I REALLY HOPE we get the Predator to have the cape, I remember a lot of people asking for something like that (me included).
Personally I would love seeing an Ancient Predator not only in the game, but as another level unlock Predator. Definitly something to grind for at max level of 999 (since they don’t have 1,000 - it would be a nice touch since to be a Ancient, you have to be near or past 1,000 years old to be considered for the rank.)
