So I bought the samurai predator and decided to go pc squad hunting with the Katana sword, and it turns out the heavy attacks + bleeding effect of the samurai combined with the Samurai Predator melee based stats is truly strong! Feel free to check out the video and let me know what you think!

Just had a game vs 3 players premade PC team + 1 random ps4.
Heavy katana attack is devastating, 1-2 hits and even support class falls. I’m curious about the damage numbers.

that heavy attack to 2 lights is pretty much a guaranteed down, sadly the lights are easy to predict and parry :p

True, I’ll get a better clip, I was somehow behind him the whole fight. The lunge on that thing is nuts.
Katana looks cool but the combi is still the better weapon simply by virtue of being unparryable when thrown.
lol no. its that all that make it a good weapon the disc is the best weapon in the world.
but like for the disc, the spear can miss.
Not sure if the disc is exactly the best weapon, but it sure is effective when the fireteam is not inside buildings :)

Nah Katana is weird. Too slow and easy to parry. Only good against noobs. Combistick and Bow combo is still best. Samurai class is too slow btw like Berserker

Samurai class seems to be a better choice for melee predator builds, regardless if you use the katana or not.

Combi stick has heavy attacks aswell now I think ?
That bothers me, as I really don’t care for the samurai esthetic applied to a Predator… Basically they nerf the zerker so they can sell the samurai to melee minded preds… Lame.
They only nerfed cause ppl where complaining.
I think they just added more visual effects to melee so you know where the damaging swings are & the area of affect.
I decided to use the elder sword instead and he is a beast
