Seriously though, the parry should NOT stun the pred. It should only deflect the damage. Then it wouldn’t feel so broken for both sides.

On a serious note…

You really need to learn to play. Scouts are paper preds that melt like butter at melee range. Speed is you best defense and offense. Get in and get out and don’t ever take them head on.

Parry is an unfortunate necessity as there’s no other counter to pred melee. It’s very easy to work around though. Don’t attack from the front, the back is preferable.

Like with anything in life if you try something and it doesn’t work, try something else

So do you challenge them to a 1v1? Or just die because you don’t realise you have a plasma caster mounted on your shoulder but you thought that it was going to be easy so you went with the melee option instead?

Personally its not the stun part that pisses me off.
Its the damage.
Hurting the predator and not the actual FT player that absorbs all the impact of the blow makes no sense, especially when its making so much damage.
Parry should be a way to delay the Predator from taking you down 1 on 1 while your teammates try to get to you to push him back.
But it shouldn’t cause damage to the predator.

You can get around them to swipe their sides, if you play correctly. Jumping (not leaping) over them and then straffing into another jump can almost guarantee you will catch those with slower sensitivities.

Otherwise, use the katana and the axe, I guess. I personally prefer to use the club. It’s more fun that way.
