It’s the same thing if you want so much to compare it with human behaviour:
we could survive even with vegetable, nuts and fruits, without taking an animal life, BUT many WANT meat and are ready so pass over that for the pleasure of it.
Yautjas kills and take trophies of animal life for fashion, honor, and the pleasure of it.

I kinda prefer the yautja way, but as said, that is my view, and you might have yours.
I do love Crab, one of my favourite. Used to buy some fresh from the market, break into their shell, scoop it all out. Very nice.

Yeah humans will totally destroy the planet, the world is fucked, there’s no way around it if humanity keeps this path ohyeahboy.
They are not eating sentient species, its for funsies and the only thing alien about it is that they have no concept of self defense.
I can get behind xenos because they do actually have to kill people to survive. Its like Calvin. They’re underdogs and natural predators in a hostile environment. Yautja are ego + crab culture. They are making a concious decision to be there and pvp that sentient pistol granny and put the granny head on a pike specifically just for the sake of it.
Well, i hope that if we do get to meet other intelligent life, that we try to learn and understand first instead of going the route if ‘this is how we do things’.
Of course if that happened in Pred movies, there would be lots of taking and little action. All that tech would be wasted 😂

It’s interesting how communication got humanity to where it is now, but we also see how much trouble it can cause. For Yautja, it seems like they don’t talk much. They just do things and there is understanding (at least in movies).
