The idea for this was sound much like it was for FT13 but unlike friday you made some very crucial mistakes. You must have known that everyone was going to want to be the predator right? Why was it not just a game of chance as to who was who? This makes absolutely no sense from a technical standpoint or a gamers perspective, in reality all it did was create a divide in your player base between those who just play predator and those who just fire team.
The way you structured some of the combat compared to 13th seems you went towards a more arcade type hack slash for some reason, example would be the predators melee attacks. Did you not envision this being spammed/abused? Or were you going for a user friendly approach?
Several things on both sides needed work before this patch or before the game was released (even more now). I’m all for hearing the predators throat noise perhaps when he right behind me but not when he is on a tree across the way, but like I said many things could be reworked. If I were them I would do what Anthem is trying but take it a step more, I would yank this game from service and work on it until it’s actually the product the people deserve and possibly the product illfonic themselves wanted to release, then when it’s ready release it for free for those who already bought it
