The Return of the Legendary Samurai Sunday Challenge

So… I had an idea (rare, but still an idea) and it occurred to me that I hadn’t updated Samurai Sunday since the Oni update because technically the Oni Class does qualify. Now, this challenge is only really for Predator mains who are bored of “muh Handheld Plasma Caster” spam and want to test their skills in true battle. Failure will not be accepted and sepukki will be mandatory.

So, revised rules (doesn’t necessarily have to be on a Sunday btw but traditions and all of that good stuff);

  1. Must use Samurai and Oni class

  2. Must use Katana and either Combi Stick(Bo/Staff), Disk (Shuriken) or Bow. No other choices.

  3. You CANNOT engage Fireteam when they are engaged with more than 5 enemies. Never saw it in the movies, so show some Yautja pride for a change. And neither Badlands or Temu Predator 2018 count as movies FOH

  4. Go wild and restore honour to the Predator name.

  5. Bonus Points for skulling BOOYAKASHA and MASSIMPACT

Post videos, I will judge them (and you, harshly) and there may even be a monthly prize depending on quality of entries. Do NOT fail me, I didn’t come all the way back into this shithole of a forum just to entertain you plebs.

You’ll need to be specific. I understand that many “pro Pred” players rely on using Caster spam and do very little in terms of playing like an actual Yautja would but given that there is a large amount of new FT players out in the wild it shouldn’t be too hard. Samurai class is still one of the best in the right hands, so this will show who is actually good as a Predator and who can’t play without their cheese. Simple.

I wouldn’t be able to eat it anyway. Besides, cookies are so last decade. The world has moved on to frappes or something involving overpriced coffee that is more a concoction of last weeks coffee concealed with whipped creams, syrups and sprinkles then sold for a premium. When was the last time you saw Spunkmeyers? Exactly. They’re all gone now! Cool kids don’t like the cookies. They like old, cold coffees!

So…whoever the badass was who just wiped my squad with Samurai (Ghost) using an axe and bow, GGs!! Wish you’d upload the video from your perspective as it was a banger of a match. If I hadn’t been with randoms it would have been different (and I must confess, I kinda held back because I cannot remember the last time I saw someone use Samurai so well and I was in awe!! GfuckingGs!!)

(Is the Axe still broken btw, or did they fix the fucking thing?)

A single Oni. One. Single. Oni… That’s it? Fuck me sideways, this game really is dead. All the new players in the world cannot save it until illfonic fix the bugs, damage exploits and stupidity this game is infested with…

I knew, I fucking knew I was hoping for too much. “It’ll be fine! It feels so good to be back in the jungle!! Oh, I love this game again…” Yeah, that didn’t last. 14hrs of non-stop disappointment other than the few matches that were worth a squirt of piss. And if DEEZKNUTZ hadn’t extended the invite to squad up, I would have lost my faith a lot sooner…

I mean, look!! The Predator is right in front of you little man, and now he is throwing his disc at you!! What ya gonna do huh?? WTF!! WHY ARE YOU MUDDING U…and you’re dead!! Jesus H effin Christ to the headlice, what the fuck were you thinking asshole? Do you think mud is some special damage resistance?? You’re a fucking SUPPORT class, you ain’t DUTCH!! I am in the process of reviewing all of the footage I collected against Oni and Samurai Predators, taking names and will give kudos to all the best ones.

Like, I am being serious now. I saw some really impressive Samurai players in the jungle yesterday. Thoughtful, adaptation and not a fucking glitch/exploit to be seen (except for a couple of combi-stick one shots but I don’t think they realised…and saying that, as @Derangedxeno_02 said during our brief encounter, it should stay that way as an official perk of the Combistick…wait for the hate to come in. Like, no class, not even Dutch should be able to tank a combistick to the head!)

To all the Onis and Samurais, honour to the clans has been restored!! GGs to every one of you! And thank you, it was really something to see so much skill on display!!
