Well because the weapon deals still a crap ton of damage even when in close range and the fireteam does not have some sort of “Can die to your weapon thing” And I would like to know if anyone else thinks the rocket launcher is broken.

Ummm it deals damage to the ft if they point blank the pred. Also it has zero splash damage it needs direct hits

Didn’t I prove this by going kamikaze on the pred a couple of days ago?
Also the ammo management on that weapon is abysmal to the point that ammo bags are required for you and you alone.

This is right. I think the rocket launcher is balanced because you basically have to give up your PRIMARY and 5 GEAR to use it effectively, and you’ll kill yourself if you use at point blank range.

Does the new plasma rifle induce friendly fire? I know you’ll injure yourself from splash damage at close range, but does it include teammates 😈

Apparently it does, @PsychoBaBas mentioned it in another thread. I’m not against it, I think ‘friendly fire’ should exist in this game. It would certainly stop alot of the sloppy gunplay I’ve witnessed with randoms.

RPG is for sure not broken.
You need to be a good aim, the predator needs to be a potato (or a berserker, viking). The ammo count is so low that you need to carry ammo-pack. Also it takes your main weapon slot which is painful.
If the predator just charges in a straight line then OK the RPG is strong.

It surprises me that people use the word “broken” in the wrong context.
Something is broken when it doesn’t work, or when it does something that it’s not intended to do.
If some people feel that the rocket launcher does a ton of damage, it doesn’t mean it’s broken, it means it’s op.
These people need to stop calling everything broken.
